Not again! It's back...

...I am sick again! This time it is worse! I have a fever of 100.0. Before, it was just a constant cough and runny nose. Now it is coughing every 5 seconds, I have an even worse runny nose, and I am getting constant migranes. All I am doing is lying in bed and watching Scarface. I have to go to school tomorrow and snowboard. I know it sounds weird, but my doctor says there is a good chance it will be gone by tomorrow if I keep taking the same meds.

I am going to end this blog on this paragraph. I recently am playing SSX Blur (rented it) and I am waiting for God of War II to come out on the 14th. EB, for some reason, always gets the best games a day later than the official release. Weird. Anyway, I need to rest, I feel VERY VERY tired and need my rest to feel better tomorrow.

The big day!

That's correct reader, it was my birthday today. I am now 15 and I am feel, well, the same. Anyway, it wasn't too big. Even though the title is "The big day!". I woke up, went to my sister's cheering competition, came back and had a big dinner with my family and openned my presents.

Oh, I almost forgot about the vote last blog. Yea, pretty much everyone was right when they voted Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters because I was desperate to get that game. I have played a lot of it over the last few days. I am currently inside of Clank because Ratchet used the shrink ray to get inside of him. So I am having fun with that game, but onto what I got for my birthday. I also put down a pre-order towards God of War II and got the demo disc. In the demo, you battle the Colossus. The demo was wicked awesome and now that I have more money, I am going to put the rest of it down before the 13th. Which is when it comes out.

Alright, I didn't want too much so I got like 5 gifts. They are:

  • Boxing gloves
  • Star Wars: Lethal Alliance (PSP)
  • Pants because all of mine are messed up or too big
  • 35$ to EB Games
  • 2$ from my sis and her boyfriend (weird)

Since my parents are divorced, I didn't get to receive any presents today. So, I have to wait until next Saturday when I am at my fathers to get presents. UGH! But I am getting presents from his side of the family so I get more. SWEET! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you all how it went. Ok, I am going to go play more games, as usual.

What do you think I will buy today?

Well, I am heading to the game store in say... 30 minutes. My parents are too nice to me and they are letting me buy a game before my birthday... and I didn't have to torture them! Well, there are 6 main games I am trying to get, but I am going to buy only one today. You guys can vote on which game you think I will get. So here are the games:

  1. Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters (PSP)
  2. Chili Con Carnage (PSP)
  3. Star Wars: Lethal Alliance (PSP)
  4. SSX Blur (Wii)
  5. Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii)
  6. Wii Play (Wii)

You can vote for what you think I will buy so vote away. I will tell you what I got on my birthday! I'm out!

Old to New

I browse GS everyday so I find out things everyday. I really didn't find out anything today, but I felt like saying that.

Anyway, I was looking at Wii games and I could help but notice that SSX Blur came out today. Now, I am no stranger to snowboarding or snowboarding games. I used to play the COOLEST snowboarding franchise when I was a little kid, Cool Boarders. Now, some may not agree that cool boarders was the greatest, but I think it was easily the best winter sports game. That is until SSX games came out. Those own.

Anyway, I have kept my eye on this game for a while and been looking for new previews or news about it. I just remember it came out today so I searched for the review. Nothing. Okay, no surprise, this is what GS does. KEEPS US WAITING MAN. NOT COOL! Just joking.

I saw that Gametrailers.com gave SSX Blur an 8.4. So, I feel like this game is going to be a buyer, but I can't always trust the reviews. So until I make my final decision, I need to hear more stuff about it.

I got only 5 more days until the big day.

Check it out

Well, I got the new review up for Gears of War so if you want to, just check it out!

GEARS OF WAR REVIEW

In other news, I just recently rented Red Steel and have played a tiny bit. To me, it should be getting better credit than a 5.5. GS has done it again!

Also, I have to make a birthday wishlist for my Dad and step-mother so give me some suggestions on games.

Systems
  • Wii
  • PSP
  • DS
  • PS2
Anything like...
  • Shooter
  • RPG
  • Platformer
  • Sports
Thanks in advance.

I will not allow Led Zeppelin in my house after hearing Stairway to Heaven backwards. Creepy...

I have been SUPER patient... and it payed off

It is about time. I have waited so patient for both these games to come out.The first one is...

Sonic and the Secret Rings
When I was about 5 or 6 years old, I played my first Sonic game and I was in love with it. I kept playing Sonic games until I was about 11 years old and then got sick of them (WHY?!?). I go interested in Sonic again about 6 months ago when the next gen Sonic was going to come out. Unfortunately, the game was worse than any other one. I was about to give up on Sonic when I saw that it was coming out for the Wii. I thought about getting it when I bought a Wii, and I waited for about 5 months to hear anything good about it. Secret Rings is getting great credit from a bunch of my friends. I asked my mom if I could have it for my birthday and she said she wont tell me. Usually, she gets me the most wanted gift. Sonic just happens to be that. So I should be getting that for my Wii. YAY!

The second game is...

Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters
I heard about this game a while ago. Maybe back in September or October. Anyway, I have loved the Ratchet and Clank series ever since I played Up Your Arsenal.I bought the first two and lost UYA. I really enjoyed them and I have also been waitiing patiently for Size Matters. That too is something i asked for my birthday.

Well I hope I get these games for my birthday, I will write reviews for them. My mom will get me a game for my birthday no matter what. I asked for a bunch. Here are all the games I asked for.

  • Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii)
  • WarioWare: Smooth Moves (Wii)
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GCN)
  • Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters (PSP)
  • Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy (PSP)
  • Clubhouse Games (DS)
  • Star Wars: Lethal Alliance (DS)
Alright, I need to go out front and shovel a tunnel. I GOT A LOT OF SNOW HERE!

Feeling better, I can actually smell...

...but what I can smell is my own fart. AHO!

Yea, I am getting better, but I am still feeling sick. I am getting more work done, but I am playing more, and more games as well.

-My friend actually brought his 360 the other day and we played Gears of War and beat it on Hardcore. We started it again on Insane difficulty, but then stopped to play Dead Rising, which we rented. (Look out!: I will have a review for Gears of War up soon.) Dead Rising wasn't as fun as I thought it would be so we stopped right at the first boss with 69 hours left in the game. I will be hosting his gamertag on my page so remember it is his gamertag. His name is Warning Emperor.

-I have been playing some more of  Twilight Princess and got pass the first dungeon and the first boss in that dungeon. I then took over and cleared all the twilight out of the Kakariko village and saved the children. Then I leanred how to sumo wrestle, headed back to the village to kick some Goron butt, then I lose another tike. So, now I am fighting while I am on my horse, which I named Jake and later found out it was a girl :P. So yea, I am enjoying it a lot and look to actually beat it soon.

-Next week is February vacation and I don't know what is going on, but I will probably be at friends houses or they will be visiting me. I wanted to visit my cousin in D.C., but I doubt it will happen because it is too late to take care of everything.

Well, I'm tired, I'm gonna just go lay in bed and watch the rest of WWE Monday Night RAW. Damn, Ashley was smokin' last night at No Way Out.

Cleaning up

Yeah, I need t clean up stuff here. I am going to erase people from my friends that don't visit my blog or I don't visit theirs. Also, if I am in a union I never go to, I will get out of that.

Sick Update
I am still feeling queezy in my head area. I hardly doubt it is anything serious like pnemonia. My mom thinks it is kind of serious so she is keeping me in my room alot. So if I am not visiting blogs or unions, it is because of my mom.

Snow Day
It's about time too. I have been wating SOOOOO patiently and it payed off. 16 INCHES OF SNOW BABY! I plan to go to a friends later on today. For now, I am watching Star Wars on HBO.

Reviews
I might have a review up today for Diddy Kong. I will probably get bored and do that. So keep an eye out for that.

Yea, this was an increadibly short blog and now I am going to gte back to Empire Strikes Back.

...and I don't think it is getting any better.

Wow, I thought it was bad before. I literally feel like garbage. I have a bad cough, my throat hurts, I am getting constant migranes like every 4 hours, and I have a super stuffy nose. But, I do not like to sit in my room, playing with my PS2 and Wii, with a big imaginary QUARANTINED sign on my forhead. No, I get out and play sports like football, soccer and even snowboard. I know it isn't serious because the last two years I have had this occur at the same exact times. This whole "episode" should end by the end of March if I'm lucky.

-In other news, I have moved back into my old house with my step-dad. My mom and him broke up for a while and I was pretty upset because, well, the house is pretty damn big and he is pretty much rich. Anyway, my room is set up totally different than it used to be. My room isn't very big, but it is big enough for me.I have everything hooked up. Even my PS2 Online is hooked back up so now I need to go out and buy WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 so I can take on you guys.

-I have been chilling with a bunch of my friends lately. I spent about 2 days with Josh and we chilled. He finally decided to buy Gears of War for his 360. He has a pretty cool collection of games.
  • Burnout Revenge
  • Ninety Nine Knights
  • NFL Madden 2007
  • Call of Duty 3
  • and Gears of War
The game I rented and played with him at his house was Saint's Row. The game was pretty good, but the thing that stood out most was the graphics. I mean, everything was super clear. I couldn't beleive my eyes. I am probably going to have him come over next week and chill here.

-I went up to Granite Gorge on Sunday and did some boarding. I was doing pretty good for my... 7th time at a real mountain. My cold didn't get any worse, and hope it stays that way when I go again. So, I unfortunatley don't have any footage because my bud Dylan and Seth usually get a camera for this stuff.

-The last game I rented and I am still playing with is Scarface: The World is Yours. Wow, this game was TOTALLY unterestimated by GS. I mean, it has repetitive gameplay, but is fun to keep playing. Usually when I encounter a game with repetitive game play, I just stop playing after an hour or two. But Scarface doesn't for some reason. You can find out why when I post my review for it.

The last major topic I woud like to discuss is Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Now, I know someone who visits my blog owns this game. I am stuck at  part and I haven't played on since. I am stuck in the first dungeon in the game. I just released the second monkey from the cage that was on top of a very weak pillar. I need to know where to go to next. If anyone knows, please help me out.

Well, I will end this blog letting you know I might have a few reviews up for you. Here are some:
  • Diddy Kong Racing DS
  • Gears of War
  • 50 Cent Bulletproof
  • Scarface: The World is Yours
  • and maybe Ninety Nine Knights

Wow, being sick stinks....

...so much.

Yea, it's true, I'm sick. I feel terrible. My throat is messed up and I have a stuffy nose. So, after my internship I came home. I've been home for about 2 hours and all I have done is played my DS.

The game I have been playing for my DS is Diddy Kong Racing DS. I have to say that GS should have gave it a better score. I have been playing it a lot lately and it has been just traveling around an island and racing in cars, planes, and hovercrafts. I read in GameInformer that you had to blow into the built-in microphone to get a headstart in the match. But for the plane and car, you have to use your stylus. I haven't gotten to play the game on Wi-Fi, but I plan on it. I will probably have a review up for it soon.

I also got home and played the Wii. I am playing Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I rented Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam and I am enjoying it. Again, I think GS under estimated the game. It deserves more than a 6.0. Zelda has been a great game so far. I am not the biggest Zelda fan, but I am really enjoying this one. I hope to write a review soon.

Speaking of reviews, I recently wrote a review on WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 for the PSP. I really think it is better than the PS2 version. I need to try the 360 version to see which one is my favorite.

Ok, I'm feeling worse so I'm going to go rest.
