I played A LOT the last 2 days...

Well, I have got some games and tried some games. I bought a game and pre-ordered two games. I bought The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. A very contreversial game which I just needed to have. I haven't gotten very far, I am only to the part where I am blowing on a peice of grass and some bird fliew onto my arm and I have to get something. I am going to play more of that tonight.

I pre-ordered two DS games. The first one, apparentely, comes out tomorrow, but was supposed to come out today. It is Diddy Kong Racing which looks pretty sweet even though GS gave it a 6.7. I'm not listening to that score because I the reasons didn't seem good enough to not at least get the game. I am going to go for it.

The second game I pre-ordered was The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I haven't done much research on it, but I am a fan of Zelda games so I think one for the DS seems pretty sweet.

As for renting, I rented 3 games. I have only played two because I just rented the third about an hour ago. The first game I rented was WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 for the PSP. I rented this game on the PS2 and I was kind of disgusted by it. It had new but crappy controls, the stories weren't as good as last year, and it wasn't as good as the first or '06. The PSP version only improved because it had better controls. I will probably have a review up for that game.

The second game I rented was Gears of War. Yes, I rented Gears of War. Yes, I don't have a 360. Yes, I am a near lunatic. But I have friends. And friends own 360s. This friend also had Live so we played a bit on Live, but we sadly couldn't make his mic work. Josh has like 4 games and is loving it. I am at hsi house a lot and I will be playing Live so if you want to be his friend, then his gamertag is WarningEmperor. But when or if you get in touch with him, just say Jake gave you his gamertag.

The last game was Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam for the Wii. Now, I hear crap about this game, but I'll be the judge on that. The thing I noticed when I looked in the instruction booklet is that the only real person is Tony Hawk and the rest are made up. So, that is kind of a bummer. But, I am going to play that ASAP.

Now, my title has the words in caps A LOT up there. Well, I played my games I have like the Jak games, Wii Sports, Far Cry: Vengeance, Ratchey and Clank, and I once again, beat (more like owned) God of War on Very Hard. I also got to borrow a movie today. The movie is about that man. A man that surrounds my whole profile. He is none other than John Cena. I am borrowing The Marine then buying it when I get enough cash. I have only seen up to when John Triton (Cena) gets fired from throwing a guy out of a window. Sweet indeed.

Well, I need to go play games and make plans. Live long, and prosper. William's the Shatner!

WarioWare: Smooth Moves

Silly Wario with your weird mini-games and your weird nose.

J Blog: My new union is up, Halo 2 agian, Blue Dragon thoughts and maybe more...

Yea, it is so true. My new union is up. If you aren't a fan of wrestling then don't bother joining.

-It is called Intense World Wrestling (IWW) and it is all about wrestling. Any brand you can think of, talk about it. We will be having contests, events, and even a simmed season. I have only 6 members so if you want to join, feel free to ask and I would love for you to join!

-Today, some of my friends from school dropped by to play some Halo 2 on system link. We had teams of 4 and we played tons of rounds. My friend Ryan had to bring in a small TV to put on table and he brought his Xbox as well. I had mine, but both Ryan and Kyle had theirs (I need to stop using their names, you don't even know them). I lent my Halo 2 copy to my cousin and never saw it again. He apparentely sold it and now I am short a copy so I will rebuy it later. I am setting up a tournament in February and we will give away a prize I am not aware of yet. I haven't played Halo 2 in like... 5 months so my skills are very rusty. On Live, my slayer level was 28 I think but now I play like I belong on level 10. Oh well, Doom 3 has been my replacement since and it rocks.

-I recentely received my February edition of Game Informer. On the cover is Blue Dragon, the soon-to-come RPG for the 360. I watched gameplay of it on On the Spot and it looked promising. So, I opened it up and took a look at the section for Blue Dragon. I have to tell you, this game looks better than Chrono Trigger. And trust me, I NEVER SAY THAT! It actually makes me want an Xbox 360 even more.

Actually, about the 360, I am becoming more interested in as more  excellent games come out for it.

Reasons I want a 360:

  • Gears of War obviously
  • I heard Xbox Live pretty muchs rocks
  • Dude, have you seen the graphics?
  • Pretty much all of the games on it
  • As you all read, Blue Dragon
  • All my friends own it
  • It just owns everything else... EVER!
  • Mike wants me to get it :P

Ok, expect most of my blogs to have the title "J Blog". If they don't, then my laziness kicked in.

71 Days Away... but 'til then

But 'til then, I have more planning to do.

-I looked on Google Earth (awesome) for directions from my town to Detroit. Yea, the approxomite time to get there is... 11 hours and 20 minutes. So, since my friend Michael loves video games as much as I do, we are going to put his PS2 and possibly his 360 in the car with a small TV that fits perfectly so it won't fall over. I have found a hotel in Michigan. It is a Best Western. The description seemed pretty sweet. Also, we got out seats changed. Instead of Risers, we are getting Lower Level seats. They aren't that bad of seats. I can't wait to see the big show.

-I haven't gotten any new games. Well, yea I have. I got 50 Cent Bulletproof a few days ago and I have played a little bit of it. I heard it sucks very bad but I will see for myself. So far, it is okay. I rented Tony Hawk Prject 8 for the PS2, but it didn't work. My PS2 is 6 years old and it is super fragile. My guess is that it will die out in a year or so. That is the exact reason it is not going on the trip to the Motor City.

Stay safe everyone. Don't dive head first into the shallow end. I tried, and regret it so much...

The Road... to Wrestlemania

I am taking the road to Wrestlemania... literally. See, in my school, we can plan something called a trek. I am permitted to plan a trek to Wrestlemania 23 in Detroit, MI on April 1st. I have found a site with TONS of tickets to Ford Field. I won't reveal it to public because then they might go away. Anyway, we all have to pay for our tickets to the field and our hotel rooms. We also found a terrific hotel. A pretty neat Best Western. I have got all this planed out. Also, the seats we are getting are perfect. Riser seats. In case you are unaware of those, they are the seats a bit above the floor seats. So hopefully this trip turns out to be awesome!

ALSO, look for me in the Metal Gear Solid: PO tournament.

24, what a number

Well, it was a long ride. I had to work though level 23 for a month and now I finally made it to level 24. Apparently, the rank is "I Feel Asleep!!" So it feels great. Also, I have one thing to say.

Recently, I joined a union called the WWSS union. It stands for the World Wrestling Simmed Season. You can pick a character from any brand and control what h says and does until show time. There are GMs for every show. The shows are Smackdown, RAW, ECW, TNA, and WCW. I am the GM of Smackdown!. I encourage any wrestling fan to take a look at this union and give it a try because it is pretty neat.

Well, I didn't have much to say. I will hopefully be back on my blog showing off a new Wii game. But that is highly doubtful.

Bored, how about all nighter?

Yea, thats my plan. Plus, Elloit (buddy) can't sleep.

I'm going to stay up all night and just watch some movies.

How about some of the movies I got for X-mas?

If time, I'll squeeze in this movie.

Well, g'night all.

...now getting games...

The music player known as the Microsoft Zune is going beyond music. Now you will be able to play games on it. But what kind of games will they be? Will they have nearly as good graphics as the recent Xbox games, just layed out differently, or will they be simple games like Pac-Man and Brick Breaker?

To be honest, I don't think they will be very advanced like the PSP or DS. The reason is because the iPod is kind of similar, and has pointless games like that. But you never know what Microsoft would do. Another reason I think they won't be like current portable games is because it is meant to be a music player, not to play highly advanced games.

I have never owned a Zune or even touched one, but hopefully it is promising. To me, it just looks like a bad rip-off of the iPod. I have a black iPod Nano and I barely use it. The games on it suck so bad, and it lasts for about 3 hours. If I can find anyone interested, I would sell it. But I might not because my father got it for me for Christmas (2005) and it would be rude of me. But if anyone has had or tried both of them, could you send me a comparison through PM.

In other news, I have just recieved my consoles back after my short 1 day grounding. I haven't even played them yet because I have been watching recorded episodes of The Simpsons for about... 2 and a half hours.

Also, I was playing football today, I went for a tackle, and I might have re-broke my ring finger. I am going to have it looked at soon and hopefully I am not stuck in a cast again because it was a real thorn in my side.

I'm gonna play some Elebits. Also, look for a review on that soon. I might be able to do it by next week when I have completed more of the game.

Vista, eh?

Well, last night I was reading about CES 2007 on GS and watching clips. Well, I only watched the Microsoft clip. It was actually very interesting. It was talking about Windows Vista. This actually looks promising.

Now, I would have caught more information about it, but my Mom and sister where at it again! God, it really gets repetitve with those two. I will have to re-watch it. Also, I need to check out some of the other clips.

I heard about Vista in October and I heard that Halo 2 will run on it or something like that. I don't know too much about it, but if anyone knows more about it, please tell me.

Also, I will have to go without games today because I am grounded for fighting with my devil sister. Also, it wasn't a fist fight so don't give me that girl hitting BS.

Ok, I'm at school so peace.
