Well, I have got some games and tried some games. I bought a game and pre-ordered two games. I bought The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. A very contreversial game which I just needed to have. I haven't gotten very far, I am only to the part where I am blowing on a peice of grass and some bird fliew onto my arm and I have to get something. I am going to play more of that tonight.
I pre-ordered two DS games. The first one, apparentely, comes out tomorrow, but was supposed to come out today. It is Diddy Kong Racing which looks pretty sweet even though GS gave it a 6.7. I'm not listening to that score because I the reasons didn't seem good enough to not at least get the game. I am going to go for it.
The second game I pre-ordered was The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I haven't done much research on it, but I am a fan of Zelda games so I think one for the DS seems pretty sweet.
As for renting, I rented 3 games. I have only played two because I just rented the third about an hour ago. The first game I rented was WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 for the PSP. I rented this game on the PS2 and I was kind of disgusted by it. It had new but crappy controls, the stories weren't as good as last year, and it wasn't as good as the first or '06. The PSP version only improved because it had better controls. I will probably have a review up for that game.
The second game I rented was Gears of War. Yes, I rented Gears of War. Yes, I don't have a 360. Yes, I am a near lunatic. But I have friends. And friends own 360s. This friend also had Live so we played a bit on Live, but we sadly couldn't make his mic work. Josh has like 4 games and is loving it. I am at hsi house a lot and I will be playing Live so if you want to be his friend, then his gamertag is WarningEmperor. But when or if you get in touch with him, just say Jake gave you his gamertag.
The last game was Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam for the Wii. Now, I hear crap about this game, but I'll be the judge on that. The thing I noticed when I looked in the instruction booklet is that the only real person is Tony Hawk and the rest are made up. So, that is kind of a bummer. But, I am going to play that ASAP.
Now, my title has the words in caps A LOT up there. Well, I played my games I have like the Jak games, Wii Sports, Far Cry: Vengeance, Ratchey and Clank, and I once again, beat (more like owned) God of War on Very Hard. I also got to borrow a movie today. The movie is about that man. A man that surrounds my whole profile. He is none other than John Cena. I am borrowing The Marine then buying it when I get enough cash. I have only seen up to when John Triton (Cena) gets fired from throwing a guy out of a window. Sweet indeed.
Well, I need to go play games and make plans. Live long, and prosper. William's the Shatner!
