@Stonecutters908 not to mention the fact that the time period they looked at was during the assault weapons ban along with other gun control measures,when that ended gun purchases went up and murder rates went down . so your are arguing with outdated info.

@Stonecutters908 @jackrg I'm not making excuses but it's a bit odd that the study says that more guns causes more homicides, but according to the FBIs website the murder rate has dropped as gun ownership has become more widespread.
