I received some of my games in the mail today and in great condition too. I'm so anxious to get home and play some Megaman X4, GAH! why do I have to work until 5pm. A list of what I recieved today is

3. Megaman 8 Anniversary Collector's Edition
4. Wild Arms 1
5. Wild Arms 2
6. Armored Core 2
7. Armored Core 2: Another Age
8. Armored Code 3

Out of the games I recieved 1,2,4, and 6 were apart of my collection before I sold them so it's nice to get those back along with some new games. I'll update again when theirs more news.

Well I had a pretty productive weekend on my mission. I won a few auctions to retrieve the following games

1. Wild Arms - PSX
2. Medievil 1 - PSX
3. Armored Core 2 - PS2

That brings my total of retrieved games to 5. The best part about this is my wife is actually encouraging me to to find them all and get other games for my collection in the process. Of course that just gives her an excuse to buy more clothes, but whatever as long as my collection keeps growing I'm happy. She actually won the Armored Core 2 auction for me since I fell asleep before it ended and forgot to snipe it. Along side these games in their auctions I also added the following to my collection

1. Wild Arms 2 - PSX
2. Armored Core 2 The second Age - PS2
3. Armored Core 3 - PS2

While searching through eBay auctions last night I stumbled upon a nice little auction that netted me 2 of my lost PSX games plus a 3rd that I never owned, but hey I'm not complaining about adding more games to my collection while trying to reacquire sold and stolen games.

For a measly $12 dollars I was able to re-add Megaman X4 and X5 to my collection, which is a small price to pay for 2 really good games plus a bonus, the auction also comes with MegaMan 8 Anniversary Collector's Edition which is a new addition to my collection. On another positive note, I don't know if any one these games became GH's but none of the games in the auction are and I'm trying to stay away from the GH's since none of my originals were except maybe THPS.

I need to vent about the idiotic ways of my younger self which affected my gaming collection.

In the want for new games being released and the constant urge from one nameless friend, I sold a considerable portion of my gaming collection just to get my hands on a few new additions to it. Since I wasn't really concerned with collecting games as much as enjoying them and moving on I didn't realize the error of my ways until I started really building my collection about six months ago.

To fuel the fire even more I read a topic on one of the forums here about rare games and while reading the lists by posters about their games, I see that over half of the games I got rid of are now rare. Now I really don't have a good grasp on what games are and are not rare so their posts are the only thing I have to go on, but rare or not they were some great games that I am now regretting and must reacquire for my soul to be happy Following is a list of the few that quickly come to mind, just from the PSX games I sold.

That is just a quick recollection, but there are still more from my PSX games and even more from all my other systems that I have now made my personal mission to reacquire. Now I understand not all of those are rare... or even great for that matter, but still they were hard earned games in my younger days without a job.
