i know it seems like i am a huge ps3 fanboy but yes i used to own an xbox 360 to. i didn't own it very long. i had it for about 8 months. basically it was like this. i got all hyped into the xbox launch momentum and just had to go out and buy one so i did. here was the dilema though: i also wanted a ps3. now i had two choices keep the 360 along side the ps3 or sell the xbox and just go with ps3 only. i really didn't see the need to keep the xbox as it basically gets the same games as ps3. there were also issues with rrod that really had me on edge. i did run into a few random problems of my own with my xbox 360.

i intially bought 3 games with my xbox so when i first got it i tried to try all three. i put in pgr 3 worked fine. i then went directly to madden after a few hours same results no problems. then i tried to put in pdz because i really didn't feel like playing madden at the time and the disc would not read in the system. i was like wtf? i had never experienced a problem like this with a gaming system before. i immediately called wal-mart and told the guy in electronics my problem. he told me to bring it back tomorrow and switch it out because it was late that night.(service desk was closed.) anyways i said okay. i go to return the game and all they had was the collector's edition. to make a long story shot they wouldn't do the exchange i had to go all the way across town to another wal-mart to get a new game. that wasn't the only issue i had with the xbox. my 360 would randomly lock up on me at times. no big deal as the system still worked so whatever. there was also news coming coming in as the months went on of 360s having issues with rrod, this had me on edge about xbox.

well ps3 launch was closing in so i had to make a decision and that i did. i quickly sold my xbox and waited eagerly in anticipation of ps3. i basically chose ps3 over 360 because of rrod, issues i had with the console, overpriced accessories, paying for live and the problem with microsoft itself not making enough games that really interested me. i was like why own an xbox 360 when ps3 is the better option.i knew sony would have all the best games plus their stellar first and second party lineups. i missed gran turismo and god war last generation there was no way i was going to make the same mistake this generation and i didn't see the need to own both consoles. so to all you nayseyers yes i did own an xbox to.
