Wow. Yeah, the single player leave a little to be desired, but the multiplayer is hands down one of my favorites.

[QUOTE="Ket87"]The demo actually put me a bit off from the game. I'd like to get it eventually because after watching the web comics and the movie I was really into the story but the gameplay just didn't do it for me.JnrIvan

That's how I feel exactly, but for $30 on friday I'm willing to risk it.

You're not risking anything. Feel safe with this purchase. This game is outstanding on so many different levels.

I have been dying for a good Vietnam game on the consoles. Anyone ever played Battlefield Vietnam? Incredible game. The maps and gameplay were awesome. One of my favorite multiplayer games of all time. Hopefully someone will pick the ball up and make a good Vietnam game for the consoles.

I'm 33 and play on XBL almost daily. I have one guy on my list that is 43, he plays more World of Warcraft than XBL these days, but he plays COD and GTA from time to time also. I'm gonna be the 58 yr old grandpa gamer, and most of my friends will be right there with me. joshua6775

Yep, I'm 34 and game several times per week (although time available to play is becoming more challenging). If you think about it, us early/mid 30's gamers are going to the first group of "senior citizen" gamers. After all, we are the first generation of video gamers. (the Atari 2600 and Intellivision era.) Many who started as a kid in the Atari days are still playing today, and many will likely continue to play with future generations of game systems.

[QUOTE="DZBricktop"]I like it. Havent played much of the single player but the online multiplayer is great.Engroth_Tsuga

The thing I didn't like about the multiplayer was the huge maps. It just seems like its impossible to find people. But I could just be in the wrong place. But I also like how the game makes you be tactical with your squad.

Just go stand by a gold crate. You'll find plenty of action.

how much longer will 360 last for its life spane and if your not sure please dont comment.nerozero25

That's a pretty dense question. Unless someone here works for the Microsoft marketing department, you aren't going to be getting anything but speculation.

I can't say anything new, but I can back up what many have said. HL2 is one of the best gaming stories you'll come across. Great cast of characters that actually brings out emotion from the player as the story develops. You'll actually become fond of certain characters in the game and hate others. The story is something special, achieving something that most games never achieve. Once you finish Episode 2, you'll wish you could pre-order Episode 3 right now. The game is easily worth $60, so yes, at $40 it's a steal.

Mouse + keyboard is far superior to the controller for FPS. Much more precise, you can turn to face the opposite direction instantly if you're getting shot from behind. I am much better at multiplayer FPS with a keyboard + mouse.

Controller is far superior for sports games. More fluid controls with the numberous button options all within thumbs reach.

Try driving in 1st person view. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the feel for it, it's much easier than driving in 3rd person. Plus it's more realistic.
