I have enough cash but i dunno if i want to spend it on a new console which i would then have to buy games for which would make me broke when i could use the money for other games in the future or save up for the next gen console. (yes i know its YEARS away but the more money the better and i am not exactly rich, im 14, no job or anything will soon be living on a student salary so i need all the money i can for games)

Edit : Well not soon byt probably before the next gen launches!

Brain age is OK. It will last you a while and unless you keep trying to shave a second or so off your record time then you will run out of stuff to do. I would say, spent a few extra £ on a full game.

you need DVD +/- RW to rewrite on DVDs. DVD +/- R cannot delete anything. You could also get DVD RAM but they are more expencive and will not work in the majority of normal DVD players.

I also just bought a new PC to replace my 5 year old one. It has a E6600, 2gb RAM and a 7900GS and will play Medieval 2 Total War great.

EDIT: yours will probably play Medieval 2 fairly well.
