I've recently bought an Ipod Touch 64gb with the sole purpose of using it as a gaming device (I use a 160 gb classic for my music and prefer blackberrys as phones). I did this after seeing a handful of interesting games, chaos rings and infinity blade in particular, thatcaught my attentionbecause they looked "real" full fledged games and not the usual minigame crap I'd saw in mobile gaming. So far i've dowloaded138 games, some of them free, really short or arcade style but there's alsoa lot qualityinthere.FPS shooters like NOVA, while being a complete rip off inconcept and art, is a betterFPS than most of what I've played onmy DS or PSP and this is true for most of gamelofts other rip offs, not very original concepts butgood value games who offerexperiences very similar to that on other handhelds in lenght, visuals and story.

Right now I can say that Iprefer the Ipod thana DS or PSP mainly because is more portable and Idont have the need tobe carrying lotsgames, its a nifty, small device who packs a serious punch! The onlything about itthat makes me feel like it isnt a truehandheld is battery lifewhich tends to drain fast while playing the best looking games.

Grandia is flawless in my opinion, a gem of a golden era of RPG's for me... But is a fairly known game so idk if it qualifies as a hidden gem...

[QUOTE="jordonj"][QUOTE="Daavpuke"]I haven't followed a lot of it, since most things were crazy rumors. Once Sony comes out with the official buzz, I'll take a look.deejaypsp
That goes double for me.

Add me to the list. I have a huge enough backlog of games that need to get played, so a new system won't be in my future for a while, unless backwards compatibility comes into play. For the time being, I'll just sit on the sidelines and enjoy the games I haven't had the chance to experience yet :)

This. I think like someone else said, that the psp is powerful enough to hold its ground againts a DS 2 at leat on visuals. Also I got tons of games that I havent opened yet... I think its better to release more games, not only psp games but also more Ps one Classics, I love playing massive rpgs like FFVIII or Grandia on the go so maybe PS2 games on download too? I dont know if its possible but I would certainly be very excited..

Thanks ! but what I was asking is opinions of people who played FF tactics on the ps one and the one remade on the psp, this is why I thought of making this topic instead of using the sticky, I've never played Tactics and just want to know if the remake is way better than the original!

Hey guys just need some opinions, lately I've been playing mostly with my psp cause work's getting heavy and playing consoles takes more time. I beefed up my game getting pirates, monster hunter u, castlevania, little big planet and a 50 bucks card which I used for getting Final Fantasy VII; VIII, Grandia and Hercules (oh the good olĀ“ days).. So i have a little credit left in my account and I cant decide between getting Final fantasy IX or Final fantasy Tactics, so the question (finally!) is if the psp remake of FFT way better than the psp original? I saw this game for $30 bucks new while the ps one classic is 9.99 so just some opinions on both ver.!

Thanks !

I leave games unopened and never even played. Bought gears of war 2 and halo 3 six months ago, havent even played them yet.IgorAntunov

This happens to me a lot, I got7 unopened games as now, last week I opened Batman Arkham Asylum and played for a couple hours, the next day bought bioshock 2 (havent opened it yet) borderlands and red dead redemption and only borderlands has gathered serious playing time (mostly collecting guns)...
