Both are GREAT qb's, but im happy with big ben as the QB of my team and I would never chose Brees over him, he puts very gaudy stats but Big Ben just has that special something that separates him from any qb not named brady that makes him clutch in the big games...

I think they'll be just fine..Its pretty obvious that the defensive lacks the punch and versatility it has when the omnipresent polamalu is on the field but theit held his part for most ofboth losses. We need better production in the red zone, its really maddening seeing a great drive get totally stalled 1 yard from td against the bungals!
The team is very talented and always find ways to win when it matter the most so Im actually happy that this losses came early in the season so everybody there get that u need tu put ur arse on the line ALL the game to actually win it.. Having said that the team has problems that will surely be adressed next offseason (unless we get lucky number seven then all is alright), my main concern with theteamis the inability of the line to create holes for the running game and establishing the run, the pass block has been a lot better but I just dont get why they cant make lanes for the run, this coupled with fast willy gettin' happy feet before he even reaches the line of scrimmage is making our offense very predictable and big ben cant always make something out of nothing. Besides that Im feeling pretty good 'bout my team even though Im pretty close of putting bust labels on Mendy and Sweed, specially the latter which is really sad 'cause the guy has loads of potential, I mean this guy actually gets VERY open pretty often the trouble Is he also has a severe case of the dropsies. Mendy hasnt had a lot of chances to prove himself but the fact that coach Tomlin didnt use him because of poor training sessions doesnt make me very confident. All in all Mike Wallace seems to be adapting pretty damn fast and our core of receivers is pretty solid even without sweed..
So to conlcude this big rant (sorry I get kinda excited when Im talking steelers) I would say that the team's gonna find his way even before Polamalu gets back and we have a not-so-tough schedule so dont panic steeler nation, we'll be just fine!!
PS: Damn you madden curse!!!
It hooked me up for about 2 weeks, but that was more about the creation tools that the actuall game, I loved creating Ships, armored cars, houses and so on and because of that I felt the gameplay was awesome too but then I realized that It was too simplistic and got bored with it..
this gen xbox 360, ps3 and psp..
The DS is really the PSP's competitor, since it's stealing a lot of it's thunder. Just because it's not the same hardware and technics that doesn't mean it's not a competitor.
Though I see your point. For a technical competitor I don't think we'll see one for a LONG time. I think it's impossible at the moment for an out-of-the-blue company to make it's own successful handheld to compete the PSP. Until Microsoft makes it's own handheld (if ever), I guess the PSP is on it's own hardcore handheld plateau.

Totally agree. The DS IS a competitor but for me it doesnt feel like it, and is kinda sad that is so much more popular than the psp cause is a formidable system with tons of potential..
Well this is an interesting topic.. I was wondering the same myself, can u live only with a handheld?
Two weeks ago I went on a business trip so I spent a week away from home so I obviously took my psp with me and I must say this system can hold its own, I had to purchase some games (resistance, patapon and untold legends) because I have played all that I owned but once I had fresh games on my hands I realized that this is a very good system that in fact could replace a home console but all this is in the event that you have a somewhat busy schedule because If you actually have free time for gaming then you may start feeling the gamesare a littlelackluster in comparison with those on consoles or pc.For surethis is by far the best handheld I've owned from a technical point of view(i sold my DS a couple of months after buying the psp) and it has a very solid library of games with many more coming out.
So too sum things up I would sey that you actually CAN live only with a psp but it all depends on your lifestyle and you're preference in games
Like someone above said, in those times Arcade games were way more technollogically advanced that their console counterparts and in fact I remember turtles in time being an awsome adaptation because it was so close visually to the arcade... way back then most of us never even dreamt about having a console that totally blasted arcade games in the technicall department. I remember some nintendo specialized magazines saying that the "ultra 64" was more powerful than most arcades an that Killer instinct gold was way better than the arcade one and we all saw how that went.
Also someone mentioned that console games really started to look better or at least the same when the dreamcast came out and I think thats pretty accurate..
Sega will celebrate by announcing a new console, then discontinuing it immediately.

Perfect Dark Zero and Project Gotham came with my Xbox.. the first one I played was PDZ. The first game I actually bought was Kameo..
