@apnance Well written. It's true in some case, but it might not work on Gamespot. There're too many posts here on this site. Even if I choose to skip at least 60% of the topics, there're still so many we can go through. I believe people no longer spend much time on each topic since there're too many nowadays. I think it will help if the commentators have some respect to themselves and readers by reviewing what they about to post before hitting it (I've done this myself all the time, you can always have a good version of your offensive comments). This way we can altogether reduce excessive offensiveness, while having an ideal pleasant gaming forum.
