um no all it takes is a simple change in the display settings. your friend sounds pretty stupid to me, no offense. oh yeah and as a first game, i would suggest inFAMOUS. looks top notch.
Are you talking 1st month??? Or overall all? U.S. or global? First month, they will probably sell in the neighborhood of 300k in the U.S.... Lifetime global sells will likely be 2 million plus...haze_blazereally? to me it seems like video games sell the majority of their overall sales within the first month. i think that the first month sales will probably be around 600,000 world wide, and ending up at around 1 million. oh yeah and to answer your question, i was pretty much thinking overall all.
1.40 million to be exact.Floppy_Jimvery optimistic. i just don't think that regular ps3 owners know about it. i hope they do.
really that low?? i think they would be devastated if it sold that bad. even motorstorm pacific rift sold a ton more than that. i think this game is going to be better than most people think.prolly 250,000 copies, I am hoping for a 1,500,000 copies to give them an edge in current market.

[QUOTE="Tikicobra"]Sucker Punch said there's only one ending, but multiple ways for the story to unfold.Silent-HalThat's interesting, I didn't know that. The only way I can really see that working is if your character dies at the end or something like that. yeah on the official playstation blog, they interviewed a guy on sucker punch's dev team, and he said that being a hero or villain will reveal different parts about the story, but it'll basically have the same ending. go to this link to check it out. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/05/11/infamous-your-questions-answered-1/
Considering that inFAMOUS is a pretty large scale game, probably takes a lot of money to develop, and is still exclusive to the PS3, I think that they are very concerned about sales. inFAMOUS seems like a fantastic game, and I just hope a lot of other people do too, because if we support more unique games like this, than that'll show other developers that they can take a risk. So how many copies do you think it'll sell overall worldwide?
