@deadpen $1000 will get you top of the line hardware. You don't need top of the line though to stay with current gen since they are lowered to play on consoles. When the new consoles come out they will be about equal for awhile but then they will lower again because tech gets better.
I felt Nintendo did bad. Everything they showed was coming out in three to four months. Other things got delayed. They did show some new things but this console has been out for awhile and we have had nothing but promises and it was annoying. I love Nintendo to death but I have this console but almost no reason to play it.
So I guess Live will be pretty silent since not that many people will want to go out and buy a headset. They should have learned that from Sony and the PS3. Yes, the Kinect has a microphone, but when people have been trying to make sure they can turn it off wouldn't that be a clue that people want a headset instead. I don't want people to hear what is going on in the background of my house.
But lets not forget the deal they made with Turtle Beach.
For them to say this is funny. Call of Duty has been ruining the sales number of the industry for years now and for Activision to think that these two games can coexist is funny. Call of Duty will of course outsell Destiny unfortunately and Bungie might be reduced to making the map packs for Call of Duty.
So we won't get it. Nintendo you need to give us games and fast. You need to give us the franchises that we know and love. What about Kid Icarus? Kirby, Metroid, Custom Robo, Star Fox, Kirby, and Golden Sun, Fire Emblem, Earthbound. Yes some of those have come out on handheld recently but what is to stop them from releasing on the Wii U? Why not release more on the 3DS. You could actually win this generation of gaming if you give us the exclusives that we want. What you have proven and we as gamers have proven is that we want good games over anything else and you guys have the franchises we want.
