Wow, that's shocking. Most people tend to loathe Donna. And I'd like for there to be at least two comanions in a row that aren't trying to get with the Doctor. I'm just glad that it was over-the-top and that the Doctor stopped her. As far as the Daleks go, I'd also like to go at least a season without seeing them. They've become far too overused at this point. And the new coloring is horrible. They look like toys.

I don't think Donna was ever hated once season 4 kicked off. When it was first announced she'd be the new companion there was some grumblings because she was a bit annoying in The Runaway Bride and the fact that Cathrine Tate was a stetch-show comedian. She turned out to be the best one since the reboot.

I also thought that the world was black and white before the 60's.

I thought the exact same thing! I can clearly remember querying my mum about the subject during a black and white movie.
