I have to agree with you that MGS4 is in fact the best third person shooter out there but Resistance 2 and Gears 2 are 2 different games that can't be compared. Since you don't like FPS anymore and you mentioned 3rd person shooters, Gears 2 might suits your taste.

gears 2 was good, but like i said its nothing special. Its not exciting like mgs 4 was. It only has 10 players on live which sucks. who the he!! wants to pay for 10 players online if you can play free with 60 people online! gears 2 was great and everything but sorry It wasnt good enough for me.

The story is almost perfect! yea the cutscenes could be long, but if your into great stories and love action then the cutscenes are not a problem. Thanks to blu ray we will see longer and better games for ps3 in the near future. short games suck anymore. The game is very long even without the cutscenes. Play on hard mode and you will be wishing the game is short LOL. Well I love how the game is third person shooter instead of fps. first person shooter games suck. to me anyways. I don't want to say much about the story because I want you to experience it for yourself. To put the fanboy crap aside, I did own all three consoles but I have to say PS3 is the best console of this generation. nothing against 360 or wii, but if your looking for long games and excellent graphics then ps3 is the answere for you. Free online, you can't beat that. mgs 4 online is really fun. its the only game so far that i play online the most hours. its addicting and great. I'm playing the story for my third time and im still enjoying it. it never gets old. mgs 4 has alot of guns too. more guns then any shooter game I've played in awhile. More downloadable content is coming too!

Yea LOL me too. well it has to stay exclusive. the only way 360 will get it is if they have blu ray. the game won't fit on normal discs. and pc probably won't get it. Exclusives for PS3 are so much better than 360 and wii exclusives. imagine gears 2 or dead rising on blu ray. the games would be longer and better. I have a right to bash 360 and wii because I did own both consoles. wii was a waste of money and 360 only has three good exclusives. but whatever, I dont want to start a fanboy war.

I don't see the trueness in White Knight Story. I see the generic, plain and clear genericness. The combat system generic button mashing style, the character design generic, no interesting looking characters. Heck you can't even tell them apart. Storyline, don't know it yet but I'm willing to bet it's just some generic save the world story. The multiplayer and the 80 hours of gameplay the developers have been spouting leads me to believe, it has a 10 hour storyline and ammongst that a bunch of useless fetch quests.

Lost Odyssey so far is the ONLY good JRPG for consoles so far. It has a unique aura about it. Not the generic.

wow what a fanboy LOL. you do know that blu ray has more space than the xbox discs have right. 80 hours of gameplay..its more like 120 hours of gameplay. where do you get your information. White knight looks amazing and will probably get a high score like mgs 4 and lbp and resistance 2! you wanna talk about a generic story play fable 2, I was so dissapointed in that game. The first fable: lost chapters was so much better. and I never heard of lost odyssey, dont care either. PS3 is better than the 360 for the last time. enjoy the red ring of death and the paying online and the outdated discs and the cheap boring games. halo gears and fable oh my. thats all you hear on 360! resistance has 60 people let me repeat that Resistance 2 has 60 people online. and the best part you dont have to waste money to play online. does 360 have that many people online...NO, it can't the 10 people who do play online on 360 have trouble with the console. but of course you 360 fanboys still bash the PS3 for no reason at all. I have a right to bash the 360 because I had it twice. first time it broke down second time i got bored of the exclusives for 360. I am an RPG fan, and the only next-gen console I have is the PS3. My question is: does anybody else feel that Sony, or somebody, is making way too little effort to bring RPGs to the PS3? Because I do.

Wait until 2009. 2009 is going to be the year for PS3! White Knight Cronicles and Final fantasy is coming out for ps3 only in 2009! There is more rpgs coming out too for ps3 but sorry i forget the website with the upcoming games for ps3. thanks to blu ray ps3 will have longer rpgs then the 360 has. fallout 3 isn't a rpg its a fps which sucks. fable 2 is not as good as the first fable trust me. 360 dont have much good rpgs either. I should know I used to have a 360.

The Sony Playstation 3 has the best exclusives! thanks to blu ray ps3 is getting longer games and better exclusives starting in 2009:) Ps3 has: MGS 4, LBP, MOTORSTORM, GRAN TURISMO, WARHAWK, BUZZ, SIREN, INFAMOUS, WHITE KNIGHT CRONICLES, AND SO MUCH MORE GAMES COMING IN 2009! If you like RPG games then Ps3 is the answere. again thanks to blu ray. 360 only has 3 good exclusives- fable, gears of war, and halo. I never go into halo games and gears of war sucks to me, I only liked playing online. I do like Fable, but thats what a pc is for. the wii is fun, but mario and zelda games are the same thing each year. I had all three consoles at one time, so i do have a right to bash the wii and 360! I sold both and just got money for PS3 games:) I'm glad I did it too! PS3 is my favorite console ever and I love the games for it. I like buying horror movies for blu ray too:) I still want to see a good 360 game like Metal Gear Solid 4! halo dont even come close and geow is overrated!

SCEE has supplied us with the official statement on the situation regarding LittleBigPlanet…

During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused.

We will confirm the new launch date shortly.

We'll keep you updated with further information as soon as we get it.

I have Little Big Planet and its excellent. I hope it wins game of the year award or mgs 4. both are great games anyways Lbp is fun exciting and the best part the game never ends. Well it was MGS 4 lol dont get me wrong I love MGS 4 its fantastic. but when Little Big Planet came out... I don't know this is a hard one. LBP is great and all ps3 owners should have it:) trust me its fun. I dont know which game is gonna win game of the year award but it will be either MGS 4 or LBP! one of them will win this year.
