@nousername66 If there are launch titles you want to play at release, and you have the money, yes. If you want to play the new military FPS with huge install bases, No.

I bought one a) because Knack looks great, but mostly b) I had AUD$550 and that's much less money I have to shell out at once when the games start pouring in 9 months down the track.

But didn't Brittany actually have a bit of a breakdown? And shag her body guard?

So what the dev is hinting at is that MS isn't quite sure what they're doing with their system, but meanwhile they're busy getting a few games developers in bed? EA, you under them sheets?

@RedLegZeff In Australia they use the exact same ratings symbols and consumer advice (i.e. MA15+ Strong violence and Drug use) on the cover, but add 'Gaming experience may change online'. But in Australia games, film and books are all rated by the OFLC, which is under government oversight.

Perhaps they are different in the States because both film and game rating systems are industry based, and therefore there could be a fee structure involved in copying, or the film industry just doesn't want to be connected to the games industry?

@warriors30 Next-gen does nothing but add better textures and increase draw distance. I'd just get it out the way now.

@FAIL_TR0LL @DemocraticTroll I finished AC and AC2 and loved every second of them. Got bored very quickly in the next three. I had a look at my collection and including those 3 games, 6 of the 7 games I've sold in the past three years were Ubisoft titles.

@LordCrash88 Everything that they fault in that review were the things I was hoping would be gone from this game, or updated. Not to say that the 9/10 is wrong, but based on my time with the series and what I wanted from it I'm inclined to take the videogamer score over this.

@SrebX Memories are small electrical impulses stored throughout the brain in synapses, usually in areas associated with emotions such as the amygdala. There are several different ways it can be stored based on what the brains 'processor' decides are the important things happening (i.e. touching a hot stove, remembering someone you meet, knowing to stand up when your bus comes).

If you remove parts of the brain you destroy the electrical links that make up that areas function, so the physical mass is useless, and although we can scan brains to see where memories are being processed and can record the power of the electrical signal, we can't capture, let alone decipher it.

Sorry, for being vague, it's a very extensive subject to cover in a short post.
