I've bought NBA 2k10, FIFA 10 and Uncharted 2. Best month of gaming in a long time for me, and i dont think any other month can top it.

90% of the game in any mode when not set by the user will be raining. Why? Because in England, it ALWAYS rains on match day, or so the devs think. you dont even have to check to know its raining right now in London.
Not a bug, its a FEATURE (or so devs think). weren't people asking for more realistic weather in FIFA 09? and then they complain when they get it... pfft.
My God if it looks that bad in the early stages I can't see it improving that much once it releases. Holy cow does that look like a budget title. Maybe I've gotten used to PS3-X360 level graphics, but come on, how can anyone accept that in this day and age... No amount of gameplay can cover for an eyesore like that, even Nintendo realizes it in their games.
Maybe they should have taken it on the Okami direction, or maybe even Shadow of the Colossus... but that? thats just nasty.
i ended up paying $67 at the local game retailer yesterday and i did not put the controller down until 4am. The game is the most beautiful game ive played on the PS3, and is easily the most addicting.
That village in Nepal is easily the most vibrant and best looking locale in the game, even though it's so small. This game, it's amazing.
i beat NSMB for the DS a bunch of times so im confident it's gonna do well.
but competing against Uncharted 2? no chance imo. the day a side scroller beats an epic adventure is the day i start using my Wii again (and lose hope for gaming).
practically a lot of PS3 games weren't built for SDTVs so they all look bad, believe me cause i had an SDTV to start as well. Playing NHL 09 on SD made me decide to ditch it and get an HDTV.
you can suffer through it, but next time you make a game purchase, look to get an HDTV first. a small one works fine, as long as it does 720P minimum. and get a cheap HDMI cable as well.
For gaming, id say a console is better.
For everything else, do you even need to ask? Of course a PC is hundreds of times better.
you wouldnt need more than 120 GB in your PS3 if you dont plan on downloading.
Game installs vary in size, from 20 MB for some games to 4 GB on others.
Games that installed >1GB of data on my system includes MGS4, ES4: Oblivion, Fallout 3... i think Skate 2 and Burnout also had big install sizes... same with NHL... plus game demos usually take 800MB to 1.6GB in size, but even then you'd find it hard to fill up the hard drive.
