So far it doesn't seem like any of my games have needed updates, but how will I know if there is one or not. Does Nintendo send you a message? If they don't then they should, or they should do something similar.

I agree with you kidrock. I would have loved for the Wii to have DVD playback. By no means am I saying the Wii suks for not having it. I love the system. But installing a DVD player wouldn't have cost much. You can find them for 20 to 30 dollars nowadays and I would have galdly payed that much more for the Wii if it had it. Oh well, it doeasn't matter now. It would have been pretty neat though.

Did you say you are buying ANOTHER one? Just curious on why you would want 2. I am thinking that you would want the 60gig because of the backwards compatibility. I recently purchased a 60gig for that reason. I do realize that it is cheaper, but to me, an extra 20gig and motorstorm is not worth 100 dollars more. If the BC doesnt bother you, then get the 80gig.

Hello to all. My apologies if this topic has been discussed already. I was just wondering if one version truly is better than the other when it comes to the 60gig and the 80gig PS3. I was wondering your thoughts on this, but please make your opinion based on NOT upgrading the hard drive. I realize that you can do this to either version. To me, I think having the emotion engine in it makes the 60gig a better buy. I wonder if Sony using emulation will include PS1 games even. Your thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear about your issue. I got an intercooler for Chirstmas last year, and I debated whether to use it or not. I checked the forums and read that indeed some people had problems with it. Unfortunately, I was pretty much forced to use it because my system would turn off constantly because of overheating. I would use it for long periods of time, so I decided to use it and I haven't had any problems with it since, although there will be times when I turn on the system, the fan makes a really loud noise and the system would give me an error message. I turn it off yhough and the problem is solved.

I am not sure what you mean by scratches. Do you mean on the cartridge?

While they may not be as good as the newer ones, buying the first GBA FF wouldn't be a bad idea since it comes with 2 games, FF1 and FF2.

If they have them, I would recommend the newer Castlevania and Toshi's island 2. If you like RPGs, then you can't go wrong with final fantasy 3/
