@panko: Any company worth their salt pays close attention to ALL movement in their respective industry. Nintendo cares greatly about this.

@spoochy: At launch yes. I get the feeling development for this game has been pretty rough. All the same, I don't think this game is getting any kind of RTX on PC either, but I can most certainly be wrong about that, but as for DLSS, I can see that coming later on.

@kutraz: I agree. Sometimes you need a very public example made. Something everyone sees. Hopefully other devs and publishers learn from this.

@ROCKBO: The legend goes that Sony severely cut PD's budget for subsequent games leading to the quality downgrade over the years. As for what happened to GT7, I think Sony did up the budget again and it does show, I have heard many rumours though that Sony is hitting financial issues, which partly explains the PC releases of big exclusives, and that the MTXs and required online in this game also support that rumour. Then again, all rumours. I used to be a big GT fan and though I have moved ontpo to Xbox years ago it still upsets me to see this series in the state it is in.

@miraggio67: Yeah that made no sense at all. Is online really that ingrained into the single player campaign that without a connection, renders it entirely unusable?

@sladakrobot: This is immediately my reaction when this game first released. "Turn 10, pay attention to every detail of this release."
