Maybe that guy meant some kind of multiplayer games? There're a bulk of farmville-styled games on mobile platforms. I'd say that they over-flooded the game market...

Why would somebody desire for Windows based phone? Game market is divided between iOS and Android. If you're going to play often on your smartphone, it's better not to take Win-based platform.

What kind of simulation? Tanks? Walking robots? Else?

I play Instant Hero on iOS. Hardcore old-style looking game.

And Alien: Isolation on PS4. Nice thriller

Or you may try Boom Beach, another good game from Supercell along with CoC. Afaik at starter levels you lose less then in CoC. Also BB looks like a bit more faster paced game. However this opinion may depend upon personal preferences.
