@ghosts4ever: Nope pc exclusive star citizen would be not cyberpunk, about only game actually taking advantage of a pc's memory budget halfway. You cant just tack ray tracing onto a console game and say it's pushing technology forward man.
@hardwenzen: I dont care for VR, that's best suited for like amusement park/arcade type environment.Plus people who get motion sickness from VR hold game design back aswell.
@ghosts4ever: They're all console games limited by ps4/xbox one 8gb memory budgets. They arent pushing cutting edge tech. They look like games from ps3/xbox360 era.
Tacking ray tracing onto an ps4/xbox one game isnt pushing graphics technology forward not one bit.
@davillain-: The poor AI knowing where you are at all times once alerted shooting you through trees and across the map and bland level design was always the downfall of this game. One thing crysis 2 did better was the climbing feature and simplified less clumsy nano suit design.
@netracing: Multiplatform games dont take advantage of a pc's memory budget advantage.Consoles have like 8 gb of ram shared between the cpu and gpu and some of that memory is taken by their operating system. The industry switched to multiplatform development around 2009 with modern warfare 2 and it's the reason graphics today barely look better than 10 years ago.The gaming industry has been complete shit for 10 years due to this shift and graphics have been evolving very slow since.
