I used some of the ini tweaks and now the shadows are MUCH better, I also installed the FXAA post processing mod and the game just came alive!! amazing how amature modders could improve a game in two days which the developers have been working on for years!!

I'm level 16 and have put all my perk points in destruction, conjuration, one handed and light armour. Don't feel like wasting perk points on things like enchanting, blacksmithing etc but worried that maybe I'll loose out on some good stuff if I totally ignore those things.

level 16 so far. started off using heavy armour even put one perk point in it and then decided that i liked light armour better. Using lots of one handed weapons, destruction and conjuration majic and put all my perks in those for the time being. Now i'm thinking that maybe I should save up the perk points for later once I can figure out what sort of character I want.

30 hrs so far, did all the greybeard stuff first so i could get the free shout powers. Now i have so many quests in my log that have a hard time figuring out what to do first.

Btw one major problem i'm facing is that the quests in the "miscellaneous" section give no detailon the quest and i'm starting to forget what the quest is about!

Alright, the game looks great overall but the shadows are bad!! they seem worse than oblivion. If this is a new engine wouldn't getting this part of the graphics right be a major priority for the developers? right now they are way beyong dissapointing especially considering how good the rest of the game looks on ultra settings.

Specs are in my signature. No pics as yet, I don't even want to take any cuz my current case is really ugly and I'll be getting a new one next month. Anyone have any suggestions for a nice looking but not too expensive case?

My 8800GT keeps overheating when playing Crysis on high settings, once or twice I have had the system automatically shutdown due to GPU overheating. So now I have to manually adjust the fan settings to run it on 100% while playing games, then I turn it back to automatic fan settings when finished.Does anyone know whether running the fan at 100% for long durations might damage the fan or the card?

I purchased crysis recently and I was hoping that I would be able to play it at max settings on my systembut itturned out to be an even bigger system hog than Ipredicted :o. Keeping my experience in mind, I would say that the system requirements posted on the first page of this thread should be upgraded.
