1:1 Pixel mapping would result in half of your screen not being used. Resolution scaling that keeps aspect ratio will cut out the tops and bottoms of the screen (or side in this case) and it doesn't really help that much.
yes exactly, it cuts off the top or sides. instead of filling the screen and stretching the image. And 1:1 pixel mapping at 1080p on a 1920x1200 monitor would be fine... so yea, it does help alot. i'd rather have small black bars top and bottom than have thin people and oval wheels.
