The new Appleseed that came out yesterday? I thought it was very well made. Story was good and the special effects were great. Jon Woo produced it so it had some great gun battles and of course doves. I wish people would do this style of animation more.

Well, if Microsoft would have put an HD-DVD drive in the Xbox 360, do you think Blu-Ray would have won? Of course not. HD-DVD would be the winner by now and you would be enjoying HD movies already. Instead they greedily offered an add-on drive as a way to milk consumers. This half-way support is what doomed HD-DVD as a format.
? I mean seriously, 95% of its best games are on PC and are completely superior in every single way on PC, making the 360 games look like gimped and watered down versions in comparison. The fact PC destroys 360 in its best genres (Racing, FPS) also makes 360 seem more like some carbon PC clone. 360 seems like nothing more than a BETA testing station for PC games, or a system that solely exists to make PC games look that much better. Us hermits win enough, with our much higher standards and our far-superior-to-console-games games, it's not like we needed more reasons to brag. Geez.TheMysticHorse

He's right about the graphics though as theres isn't a hell of alot more they can do. Even if the next-gen machines are capable of supporting a game like crysis, how many developers will be able to afford to develop a game with that level of graphical fidelity?
