Most these guys giving you mass market games heres my list of games for PS2 you should play Shin Megami Tensai nocturne,Kindgdom Hearts , Disgea, La pucel Tactics, From your list GH2.

 

yeah all of those are good underappreciated games, but I see you snuck Kingdom Hearts in there, very sneaky, but that is one of the most mass market attempts at an rpg that Squeenix has ever devised.

Mine would probably be vice city were you have to beat that fat guy in a race, it took me months of profanity before i got lucky and he crashed into a pole and i won, then i beat the game in like a couple hours.

I'd have to agree with you there i remember that when i was younger 7 or 8 me and my sister borrowed my uncles snes with link to the past and played it almost 24 hours straight, that was one awesome game.
