a lot of love for gta v. while it was a fun game....anyone not think that game was short? it usually takes me a couple of weeks to beat gta games. i beat this in like one week

Hey Guys..

I currently have an i5 2500k at 5ghz and I'm wondering if changing to a 6700k would increase performance in games. Judging by a few benchmark comparisons the stock 2500k is about 20% slower (rough estimate) than the 6700k.

I'm just thinking has my overclock narrowed this gap enough for me not to bother changing cpu or would it be worth it?

The problem I have with pre-builts outside of the premium price is they rarely are built with expandability in mind.. So when they build a machine for you, they will use stuff like a cheaper PSU, motherboard, cheaper case, poor cooling etc etc.. All things which will be a problem down the road..
