Thanks for the reply. That looks like a great setup. Will 8gb of ram be OK for awhile? I really don't wanna stick more money in this thing for a couple years.
8gbs will be more then enough.. your going to have a beast system
This is Sony chance to make this VR competition interesting. imagine The sony VR is around $300-350 and the launch games are big titles such as horror games "resident evil" or a silent Hill plus they add some fps games to it it could make sony look really good for the time being.
Sony probably looking at this oculus rift news like..
It's also Sony's chance of destroying the future of VR.... if their solution is s*it ... then it may stain the scene for years.

I'll never understand this attitude. This is brand new tech. Did you go out and pick up a $8000 32" flat screen TV when they first came out?
Did you bemoan the price and insist that the technology was dead, and that market penetration would only ever be .01%?
You probably did, and yet everyone owns a god damn flat screen TV now a days.
Prices will come down, technology will improve. In 3 years a good headset and a good PC to drive it will cost 30% less. In 5, 50% less - and the tech will be even better.
That's how technology works, that's how almost ALL consumer technology has always worked.
