can someone answer me because i want to buy more thn 1 game

Captain-Ichigo

Go to Gamestop and find out what they'll give you for it, and if you don't like the deal, don't do it. (Chances are you'd be lucky to walk out with $50)

Not sure if my TV is HDCP compliant or not, but here is a link to my TV.

[QUOTE="jjseth"]Well, I'm in the same boat, thinking of picking up a PS3 today and I already have a 51" HDTV that does 720p/1080i. I don't really want to upgrade to a 1080p tv yet, as the tv I have now is more then good enough. Couple questions though, does the PS3 come with component cables in the box? (I know it doesn't include the HDMI cable) Also, my tv does not have a HDMI input, but does haveboth Componentand DVI inputs. Will this affect my ability to watch blu-ray movies? (since I'd get the 5 free movies with the deal).EmperorSupreme

It doesn't include component cables, but you can find them pretty cheap online, the PS2 component cables do work with PS3. I think there is a way to use HDMI port with DVI if it HDCP compliant or something like that. I don't believe you will get the quality of the Blu-ray movies over component it has to be thru the HDMI port. Maybe if you can convert HDMI to DVI, but not sure. Hopefully this answers some of your questions. I have an HDMI set so I don't know much about the component hookups. Maybe someone else can chime in.

If the component cables from my PS2 would work, that would be awesome. And what would make the blu-ray movies look bad by using the component cable? Again, I don't expect a 1080p resolution as my TV cannot handle that but would expect them to at least look as good as 720p.

That game looks like so much fun, I would do so much to get that game for PS3, it looks so awesome. :'( Do you think Capcom will put it on PS3?coldkill19

Honestly, I had it for the 360 and I thought it stunk bad. I would hope that they wouldn't release it on the PS3 and come up with a better game.

I stopped by my local CC today to pick up a PS3 and I couldn't believe it when the sales rep told me that they had a rush on them earlier in the day and had completely sold out of them. I then ran over to BB which is not far from there and the same deal. All gone. I was there last thursday and they had a huge stack of them and the sales kid I talked to knew about the upcoming pricedrop and laughed when I asked how certain he'd be if I could pick up a ps3 when the price came down this week. Basically said that there is no way in hell they would sell out. Apparently the kid remembered me when I came in today and said "Sorry man, I couldn't have expected the rush we've had for it. They're all gone".

I think it's great that Sony dropped the price already. I know that I will be buying one here in the next few weeks and be prepared for all the awesome new games coming this fall. Even though I feel for those who recently bought a PS3 for $600, keep in mind that the more people who jump and buy a PS3 now will mean more to play online with as well as more games on it's way to sony as sales increase.

Socom, hands down. Sure, the single player was very weak, but the reason I fell in love with it was from the online. I logged hundreds, if not thousands of hours in 1 and 2 online, and then got 3 and CA and didn't play it quite as much. I guess I just missed the old smaller maps and my buddies didn't play 3 much as well, so I ended up having to find new people to play with.
