Yes, because lots of poor and ignorant people in Africa and South America listen to them blindly. Why? From the cases I've read most children that cry molestation these days are little liars that are just getting back at a teacher because he gave them a bad grade or whatever... I hope that if he's aquitted (doubt it, people accused of these crimes rarely get a fair trial) he sues the kid for telling those lies...

It's not about the person's fame, but about the assassins motives. If a president's wife killed him because he cheated or something like that, it's plain old murder.
