@willow69: Normally I’d feel the same, except I’ve learned to block out social media and most other media for that matter. Feels good, man. I live in my own world of metal, acoustic, rock n roll, alternative, industrial, etc etc.
@nilsdoen: Coming from the guy that actually is upset enough by the little things to disregard this game, towards the guy who doesn’t care and is going to enjoy this game anyways. You’re confused. Thanks for the laugh. You’re a true pal, brightening my day like that.
@chriss_m: why should all reviews have to be “in step” with each other? There are plenty of highly rated games that I find to be a complete drag and waste of time to play. When in doubt, I just look up Angry Joe. We always seem to agree.
@lord2fli: Cool, thanks. It’s pretty simple to understand. 30 and 60 is a massive difference. Even 30 and 40 makes a huge difference on PS5. 30fps is very sluggish and it strains my eyes a lot.
I’m impressed when people can’t tell the difference. Even my girlfriend, who knows nothing about that stuff, notices the difference immediately, without me saying a word. She hates when games run at 30fps. It’s usually unplayable for her because of the eye strain and motion sickness it causes her.
I see a lot of hate towards this show. While it isn’t great and sometimes even corny and a little nonsensical, I thought it picked up nicely towards the end and it was mostly enjoyable. I knew the entire season would be a build up to something much bigger and more interesting, so I’m not judging until after season 2. The finale really called back to the movies in atmosphere and tone. It finally felt like LOTR and had an actual impact.
As for House of the Dragon, I have serious doubts that it’s any better, but I I’ll find out for myself soon.
