Trump administration agrees to restrict DOGE access to Treasury Department payment systems

Some positive developments, lets hope it actually has real life impacts rather than the Ketamine King ignoring it and doing whatever he wants, like he did for the last few days.

@sargentd: So you won't watch your senile boy Trump.claim back in 2018 when HE made the trade deal with Canada and calling it the greatest deal ever, to 7yrs later him calling it the worst deal ever and asking who made such a stupid deal. All his words, yet you won't watch it lol. I guess you don't like reality.

That says a LOT about you that you won't even consider an ounce of criticism towards Trump even when its comes from Trump 🤣

But thanks for the compliment of calling me normal, and thus proving you're not, I bet you didn't even pick up on that when you wrote it 🤣

But I do agree with you that you're not normal, probably the only thing we will ever agree on.

Maybe you should go back to arguing over which plastic box is selling more *shrug* lol

That's a step up from thinking Trump's tariffs are good and that the Constitution is bad lol.

The federal government was spending millions of dollars on things like LGBTQ awareness in Serbia, paying news networks millions of dollars and funded a trans comic in Peru and leftist are angry this shit is getting cut?

Why am I not surprised?

That accounts for less than 1% of their funding (and their funding is 1.4%, so 1% of that!). Most if it is food and health relief. Mostly for Ukraine in 2024, and Africa before that.

Just do some quick googling friend. It's not just a "leftist things", and even IF it was, this is still illegal.

A 50+ year old man pretending to be a hardcore game with paid players then having a bitch fit because his façade' of impressing 17-20 years is one of the most pathetic things i've seen from a well known figure.

It's actually sad. All that money, and he just wants to be liked, and admired. Which is why he constantly surrounds himself with yes men to suck him off and tell him how good he is. And when that gets challenged, meltdown time.

It's your country going down the shitter.

Guess these memes are suppose to be a zinger or something?

To the contrary, the shit your upset about happening, is actually fixing it.

1.4% of our budget helping poor kids around the globe to build soft power.

Truly a broken country. Let's illegally shut it down! Hell, lets go after the Anti-Christ Climate Science!

Oh my god lol. If I want someone criminally running the government I want it to be a cool Wilson Fisk or Lex Luthor type, not that freak soy boy ahah.

He for sure a nerd but hey, I give him props, kid is deciphering burnt up scrolls from Pompeii lol definitely smart enough to read a government spending document *shrug*

Don't mess with the autistic nerds man, they are capable of some shit lol I'd hire this kid over 95% of our federal workers frfr

Well this pathetic geek sure hates the constitution and law lol. Hopefully for you they don't get the blue haired liberal version of this in 4 years and start shutting down Red State aid programs illegally.

Not worried about those people, they don't even know thier own gender.

The gays are going to illegally shut down straight marriage incentive programs!

Jokes aside, be careful what illegal unconstitutional measures you cheer, the other side can and will do the same eventually. Escalation. Lets just keep things sane.

I personally don't want an army of autist teenage far right zombies illegally defunding the NOAA, USAID, and other agencies or programs. I would rather Congress do this through our regular lawful process.

I think that should be a common sense position no? Imagine if Bill Gates or George Soros, as unelected officials, starts illegally cutting programs that benefit the welfare Red States if Democrats gain control in 2028?

Crazyness, lets not normalize this 3rd world style governance.

Here is one of the guys he's got looking through USAID lol

I actually trust this kid, hes already doing a great job. 👍

I don't see the problem with 1% of our cash going to global humanitarian aid. It's great for soft power and leadership.

"Beyond the operational and technical, humanitarian assistance is about helping others. It's the impulse to deliver a meal to your friend who has cancer or donate to a food drive for victims of a hurricane. It's the belief that every life is worth saving and every human has a right to life with dignity," she said.

A look at USAID's global impact as Trump moves to shut it | AP News

Most of their cash goes to simple food and disease fighting efforts. Specifically, most went to Ukraine last year. Yeah some of their funding is stupid like the small examples you brought up, but that appears to be less than 1% of their funding, so 1% of 1%. No reason to completely dismantle it. Oh and it's illegal too, Trump should do this legally through Congress.

"The appropriations clause of the Constitution says that federal money can only be spent pursuant to an appropriation by Congress, and Congress can limit its appropriation in any number of ways. They’ve limited the appropriation, for salaries, to generally only 10 days of administrative leave per calendar year." " So when they’re promising more than that, they are violating the appropriations clause. They’re also violating the Antideficiency Act [a law prohibiting federal employees from committing funds that haven’t been appropriated]. And then, when they make promises of money to people past March 14, the end of the current continuing resolution, they’re also committing federal funds in advance of an appropriation, which is both unconstitutional and unlawful."

Well, the biggest issue is that the Supreme Cour ruled nine to nothing that when Congress directs that money be spent, the president is obliged to do it. So that’s an obstacle that will be very difficult for them to overcome.

I remember learning some of this in the 6th grade.
