i think killzone 2 is gunna be a great game

but seriously i think we can put this halo killer crap to bed

cause we all know that ain't happenin.but the thing i hate more than hearing

u have to understand that killzone 1 didn't have the big amounts of suport from sony

that they do have with killzone 2. i dont think sony would spend so much time and money on this

game it they didnt see some good potential in it, plus u do know that killzone liberation got like a 8.6 or somthing like that

The only two left atm are the 40 gb and the 80gb. The 80gb you can only get now with the mgs4 bundle and the 40gb will be replaced with a new 8gb that has NO bc.

And this is some info on the game and what it is going to be like.

On Locations:
"I don't want to do a big free-roaming city like GTA, because the flow of the story will then be hard to control. Nevertheless, I do want to incorporate big sets, with a crowd, heavy populated areas like a mall and a subway are going to be in there. Of course, the gameplay has got to make use of that aspect too."

On Graphics:
"People will be surprised. Internal (Sony's) feedback on graphics has been great. This is going to be a truly next-gen game. But still, we want to do something unique with the graphics, going beyond just making the most photorealistic world we can."

On Gameplay:
"With the release of Fahrenheit, we gave the adventure genre a new grammar. We brought new ways into the genre, new words if you want to see it like that, a new vocabulaire. With Heavy Rain, where going to expand on that same grammar."

On Story:
"Heavy Rain is about normal people that have landed in extraordinary situations. I wanted a much more personal story. The first thing that came to my mind, as a father of two little boys, was that the main theme should simply be a father's love for his son. This is not a game about saving the princess or the world. Its purely about a father's love."

"The main story will revolve around 4 different characters, and we're putting the spotlight on their perceptions. The question 'what is good and what is evil' is the key here, that will be just a matter of viewpoint...I believe heavily in moral choices, I'm going to use them A LOT. They're not about being good or bad, but about finding the right balance."

lol so 1/6th of the worlds population is gunna buy this game :shock:

The 360 is already at about 25 mil and wii is only at 30 mil while delayfailportcrapstation 3 is at a measley 10 mil :lol:. with only 2 years left in this console war i think one of the consoles is already out (guess which one).

Now here are my reasons the 360 will win. exclusive Games.

wii has no system sellers coming out except wii music and that will only sell about 6 million wiis.

Now 360 has: gears2- about 10 million 360's will be sold.

Fable 2: about 2 million 360's

left 4 dead: about 7 million

portal first slice: this will convert many hermits since they cant live without valve games and this is exlusive so about 5 mill pc users, and 2 mill casuals.

the other exclsuive games(banjo,arcade games,other smaller games) will rack in about 10 mill together.

Now if we add them all together, by the end of 2008 the console war should look something like this:

360: 61 mill

wii: 40 mill

ps3: 10 mill.

And this is ONLY 2008.if these trends continue then 360 will destroy the ps2s record for sales by coming in at a whopping 150 mil in just 4 years.

So at the end of this gen (2009-2010) i think it will look like this:

360:150-160 mill

wii:40-50mill

ps3:15mill

this thread was just to show you guys NOT to give up hope and just say the wii will win because if you actually look at projected sales of games they will easilly surpass the wii(since it will lose steam) and ps3 (everyone has given up on it). Your thoughts?

madden has always disapointed me

and socom is always great

This year's really far from being over.

We've still got LBP, Motorstorm2 and Resistance2 coming up.

Regarding Sony's financial situation, they're not exactly going "bankruptcy" so hold on to your horses son.
