Streaming over the internet games requires a huge infrastructure to avoid latency and input lag. SONY just don't got it, Gaikai never had. MS is doing it the right way by offloading some computation that will not affect lag or latency. 5 years from now? Much better chance.

Have not been in one for years. Of course, I do not buy used games.

Still too early for VR headsets. Heck, voice commands is still a headache.

The new Kinect is completely different than the old Kinect.

@jts1891 Kinect is NOT an add-on. The CPU/GPU chip have specific cores just to handle the video and audio from the Kinect. It is integrated into the console in a fundamental way.

Does not really matter. PS4 will be released, the stores will sellout in a day. The XBox One will be released, the stores will be sold out in a day. It all comes in to have fast they can get the things on the shelves for the casual buyers.
