so they're both pretty much the same prices, so ppl shouldn't complain that blu-ray is more expensive, just the players but they won't take long to come down in price....

has the price of  blu-ray and hd-dvd changed or something? i mean ppl say that blu-ray is more expensive but lately i've seen the movies for the same price and if not more on hd-dvd.Happy Feet is 29.99 on blu-ray - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8254042&st=happy+feet+blu+ray&type=product&id=1630193

and 34.99 on hd-dvd - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8254104&st=happy+feet+hd-dvd%5C&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1630192

i'm sure these arent the only ones, but the prices seem to be equal on hd-dvd and blu-ray movies. oh and i don't care if there's already a topic like this, i'm askin' the question now so don't waste ur time by tellin' that there's already a topic like this aight.

haha "shockaxis" that'll be tight actually, both rumble and vibrations.....i thought the PS button did glow, i wish it did and i hope the new one does since apparently the current gen. of controllers don't....hopefully they make it have a longer lasting battery too.

well hdtv's are gonna be mandatory becuz: United States the Federal Communications Commission will be ending Analog (Current Conventional TV Services in 2009.) 2009 will be here in a heart beat. All TV's in the United States that are not HDTV ready by 2009 will go dark IF THEY ARE LIMITED TO ONLY GETTING OVER THE AIR BROADCAST SIGNALS! so a format's gonna have to win...ur gonna have to choose soon, hell u can stick with both tho since dual players are coming out, which can play blu-ray and hd-dvd atleast that's wut i heard....

*yawn* let's just wait and see...and i wuz hearing that the xXx industry was mostly supporting hd-dvd tho,  it's just what i heard b/c it's cheaper, i mean i want blu-ray to come out on top but honestly i want something to win already so i can start buying and not worry about buying the wrong one that's gonna get rejected...

GameArtGuy:
a chart that goes 3 years into the future based of a 2006 graph that is equal and then gives
no understanding how these statistics were given is pure garbage. The bar graph is misleading
s they are stacked on top, theres no link to how these stats were gotten, they base 3 years of
future sales of half a year of sales, and doesnt show the other competitor, DVD9

^^^well here's the site if u want to go to it: http://www.avland.co.uk/pioneer/bdphd1/bdp-hd1.htm and it only shows the two main competitors, as for it showing those sales in the future i thought that's what companies do? don't they analyze and come up with possible future conclusions???
