He has two protective shells on each side. You have to hit those two sides until you destroy them, it takes a while. You can tell when you're hitting the shell when you see pieces splintering off.

Just keep hitting until they break off and he starts taking damage.

IT is overly hyped and with good reason I think. From the first screenshots and videos people have been overreacting over this game and for good reason, the videos looked amazing.

There was a lot attention to detail in those videos and there was a boat load of speculation/discussion/arguments wether those videos were really in game captures.

NOw it's out and it seems to be up to par with all the hype that was out there, great graphics, probably best out there right along with MGS4, and great online gameplay.

I'm not an FPS guy, I like some of them but I definitely got it today and can't wait to play it after work.

I honestly do not care about them either. I don't have time to try to get all of them.blank33

I think it's awesome. The voice overs are a little annoying because it's a JRPG, there's two characters that I can't stand. But other than that It's great. It has some of the best environments I've seen. The battles are addicting and keep you on your toes most of the time. A lot of backtracking though, so if you get it be prepared to that.

Yes, that happened to me once while playing Fallout 3. Luckily I was in a house so It autosaved about 20 seconds beforehand.
