Greetings... I've played Warhammer, and it was good. But I've also played Company of Heroes and it was great!!! If you decide to go with the Company of Heroes, you won't regret it. Between Warhammer and CoH, i would choose CoH definitely :) Now I have to go to get some sleep. It's 01:05am here in Croatia (Europe), and I am working tomorow... Stay cool and play as many games as you can :)
Hello everybody... DON'T GIVE UP THE GAME! I agree that the game starts once you pass Garbage. The game is huge, and don't play just missions. Wander arround, explore, thats how I got same cool items. Attacking Army warehouses was my first offmission, and it was pretty cool. In the end, all I want to say, games like this needs hours of playing before it gets under your skin :) Stay cool...
In the end, we all agree that night in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. comes with Full dynamic lighting ON or at least with Objects dynamic lighting :) But I am getting impression that 85% of us do not have the right machines to keep Dynamic lighting ON to run the game smoothly :) I am running game on Athlon 64 3500+, 1GB RAM and Ati X800XL 256Mb (256bit)... Well...
Thanks for replies guys... I've turned full dynamic lighting ON, and there was dark :)) As for the nightvision, I got it when i attacked military warehouses, sniffed a little bit around and came across a suit with nightvision attached. But as you've said, it looks crappy, and it's better with flashlight :)) Stay cool and play as more games as you can :))
First of all, greetings to you all, and thanks for any reply. I was wondering, where is the dark? The day turns into the night only by a clock on your PDA. And what about DARK? There is no visual change when it comes to night. I was wondering (again), for what do I need a flashlight or nightvision (except mission in X18 lab). The night falls, and my visibility is the same as during the day. So, if anyone knows how to make S.T.A.L.K.E.R. go dark, please let me know.One more thing: I am running the game on 1280x1024, everything is ON and HIGH except Full dinamic ligthing.Could it be the reason? --Thanks again for replies, stay cool...
