@gamespotpanayis @jpfondeur @de-astroturfer Some "very few" PS3 games have remote play, but not really, however, ALL PS4 games "except those that require the PSeye", will have remote play on Vita.
@de-astroturfer This is a Vita. A PS4 cannot enable you to play Vita games on a TV. Only a Vita can play Vita games. If you own a portable Vita you'll be playing on it's 5 inch screen, if you own this Vita you will be playing on whatever TV/moniter you connect it to. No portable Vitas do not have a TV out. So yes, if you MUST play vita games on a TV, this is the version of the Vita you will need. However, the fact that the Vita game is on a TV has NOTHING to do with "remote play".
@tom2750 That guy is an xbot, ignore him, Microsoft has nothing that compares to this. This is a Vita. Plain and simple, that's all it is. Since it doesn't have a screen, nor battery, nor buttons, it's way cheaper than a regular Vita. All Vitas can play PS4 games via wifi "like the WiiU", so since this is a Vita, it means you can play your PS4 on a different TV in the house without having to move you PS4 around. But don't get confused, it's just a Vita. Vita TV, a Vita that plugs in to your TV. It's that simple.
@Senor_Kami PS3 isn't powerful enough to emulate a Vita. However, yes, this is a Vita without a screen/battery/buttons, hence the $99 price, and is the most inexpensive way to play Vita games, specially if you already own a DS3 controller and a TV.
@mav_destroyer ...you haven't been to the PSN store lately have you? :-p , look for PS2 classics. Pretty sure that same list will be available on PS4. Thank me later.
@arqe @jpfondeur Did you even read my comment? I'll quote myself directly: "The only "streaming" it does is for PS4 games". ...again, this is a Vita, it does everything a Vita does, only instead of outputting to the Vita screen, it doesn't have a screen, it ouputs to a TV, but it's a Vita, simple as that. What does it do? EVERYTHING A VITA DOES!! BECAUSE ITS A VITA!!! Sheesh. Can it stream games from a PS4? YES! BECAUSE ALL VITAS DO IT!! BECAUSE IT'S A VITA!!!
@arqe Ugh, the confusion continues, I saw the press conference live, trust me, it's not complicated. IT'S A VITA!!! You know all the things a Vita does?? Well, that's what this does. Vita TV, a Vita that connects to your TV, it's that simple. It has a memory card slot, and a Vita game cartridge slot, and it does everything a Vita does, including play Vita games, and games bought on PSN "PSP,PS1,PSmini", That simple. It streams PS4 games via remote play too, because all Vitas do it. Because, it's a Vita.
