Anyone see somewhere to pre-order?? Google doesn't help at all and we're 4 days from launch. Unless of course that changed and I missed it? Anyway, I don't normally pre-order so I'm not sure where to try it. I've seen nothing on Amazon or NewEgg. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

@GTR12: Awesome, thanks for answering!
HI everyone, haven't been on here in quite awhile. I was just wondering if anyone has used this option in Win10 and had thoughts on how well it worked vs reinstalling the old fashioned way. Any thoughts or tips would be welcomed!
Thanks!
Thank you both for the info. I'm not much nearer to a decision but I think I may be leaning towards the 480, instead of waiting. It's not a huge investment and if something more worthwhile comes Q1 then I'm sure I could sell it and then upgrade.
So, I've been away from here and from PC hardware in general for quite away now due to....life. I recently bought Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and as I kind of expected, my PC struggles with it. My specs should be in my sig (someone let me know if they aren't and I'll post them). I was leaning toward getting this Asus 480 8GB. But, I'm not sure if I really should just be in the market for a complete overhaul. Also, like I said, I haven't been up with things lately, and I'm in retail (so I'm working 60-70 hours per week at the moment) so, not a lot of time to research. I'm sticking with AMD for a gfx card, is there anything that they have on the horizon I should wait for? I don't mind waiting because I won't have much time to game until January, and the only reason to purchase now would be to take advantage of Christmas pricing.
Any help would, as always, be greatly appreciated!
I've been registered since like '03 but have been coming here for the hardware forum well before even that. Even though I don't post much, the hardware forum has been 90% of the reason I come to GS. Having it just disappear has been like having friends just drop off the face of the earth. If I hadn't seen blaznwiipspman1 post in the pc games forum who knows how long before I would have found it. I'm sure there are a ton of others that won't find it unless it gets listed on the main forum page.
Not sure about overseas, but on Amazon in the US I was able to pick this up Sony up. It's worked perfectly for me so far.
I like the weight of the Diamonds and the fact that there are different colors available. So superficially I lean toward them, however what would you say was the difference in the overall sound quality between the 2?I didn't realise it was on sale, but this might actually be your best option.
Rhyme Acoustics NuScale 216 - $410/pair
It uses a ribbon tweeter from Fountek, as well as an aluminium Fountek woofer.
They're also rather heavy speakers coming in at 22.5 lbs each.
For reference, the Diamond 10.2's are 15 lbs each and the Excite X12's are 14.3 lbs each.
NVIDIATI
I've never really been much of one for used, although they look like good deals.Another option is to look into the used market.
Here are some examples on Audiogon:
Dynaudio Excite X12 - current bid $470 (new $1200/pr)
NHT Super Surround 5.1 - buy it now $400 (new $800)
NVIDIATI
Stereo to begin with but I'd eventually like to add to it. Slowly though, since I'm not fortunate enough to be made of money lol. Then I would still recommend the 10.2's, they'll provide you with a solid foundation to build off of.[QUOTE="jpm27"][QUOTE="NVIDIATI"] I personally think so, the improvement to the mid-range and low-end is a nice touch.
Will you be using these speakers in a home theater setup (with a subwoofer)? Or just in stereo?
NVIDIATI
The 10.1's in stereo will likely leave you asking for more.
Sounds like it's worth the extra money then.
