Anyone play Psycho Mantis in MGS1? Were you had to switch your controller ports and stuff to beat him? Were he could read your memory card etc? Were your screen would turn black occasionally, were you actually thought there was a glitch in the game??!?!?!?

There was no boss battle like that in MGS2 and MGS3 but will there be one in 4? If there is it would be epic especially with SIXAXIS technology now imagine what KONAMI could do or what is already up their sleeves.

If you have seen the trailers and are aware of the "Beautry and the Beast Unit" there is a Psycho mantis looking like thing named "screaming mantis" that has telekenetic powers just like Psycho did. In the trailer you could see it levitating soilders bodies, breaking them in half and controlling them like "puppets' (strings are shown on a militia man)

If snake does ever encounter this boss do you think the controller port switching thing could work here?

Just beat MGS1 and am currently working on MGS2 then 3. I am in love with the story characters and plotline, I now know why this series is loved by many. So now that I am more familiar with the story and stuff I am planning to buy MGS4. But...like the 2 MGS games Im playing now the harsh truth is I probably wont replay it again.

I usually dont replay games often and I dont see myself replaying MGS1 2 (maybe 3) but MGS4 feels different, maybe its cause it is more open world and more things to do but then thats were it ends. Dont get more wrong, it will probably take me like 3 weeks to finish the game (without skipping cutscenes/codecs) and IF I like it enough maybe another playthrough once or twice.

Honestly MGO doesnt look intereesting, im only in it for the SP. I might try the online for a bit but im not gonna wet myself about it.

So my question is aside from the main storyline and MGO are there any other things to do in SP? What is there to keep me busy? Are there like side missions (i recall there being like 300+ side VR missions in MGS2 not sure though). Will MGS4 have sometinhg like that?
