First day buy for me. I love WW2 shooter games and killing Nazis never gets old, I dont know what all these people are complaining about WW2 has been overdone, well that is done cause this game looks promising.

Whats new:

cover system - much like rainbow six vegas adds a more tactical feel to the game. When you attatch to a wall or covering you snap to a 3rd person view

Squad control - interviews states that this time your not just running n gunning throught the battlefield , this time like the other BIA games it involves tactics and strategy, this is what i think will redefine the genre. You will be a team leader (not sure what rank) and have I think a group of 4-8 men separated into squad like assualt (machine guns) and demolitions (bazookas) maybe even a sniper (REMINDS ME OF SAVING PRIVATE RYAN) YOU CAN ALSO COMMAND TANKS AND USE THEM!

More in depth story/characters - each squad member will have their own personal story and react differently to a situation, hopefully this will add comedy to the story

Real locations and weapons - interviews states that all weapons are authentic, and almost all the buildings you see are real and the battles were once real. (if you did not know this gametakes place during on operation market garden)

Not the same old online shooter - cant find much info on this but there are alot of people saying the squad control will be implemented online. Like you and 3 other players on one team with EACH of your own squad team. Its either that or straight up 12v12 (or more) team based modes. Either way thats fun as hell

Still looking for - info on destructible enviornments, more detailed online info, more weapons and locations, also since the whole series is rated M they said they are trying to add a more violent feel to the game like ripped clothes when shot, more guys, and the occasional flying BODY PARTS! info has not been confirmed, also i have yet to find the confirmed resolution.

Ok heres the story, I had a PSP before (original) and I liked it for like 2 months then got bored of it and never played it again. From time to time I would rent games but overall the games/system was boring. I eventually sold it to my friend for around $100-$150 which I thought was a good deal (better than gamestops)

Today is a different story, The new PSP lite is out and there are alot of good games out and more soon to come. And the aspect of it being portable refreshes me again. You cant believe how many times I wish I had something to play whenver I was on a plane or on vacation. IF i get a PSP my dreams would come true again.

Another factor is im moving, if you read my other post over at OT it says im moving to the Philippines. It is not as developed as were I currently live (U.S) but it still is highly developed in most of its parts. I mostly want the PSP cause it offers more great SP games that will last me a long time than a console would, IMHO i think the PS3 was for online and since were Im moving the connection is there but not so great compared to here.

Like I said in the above paragraph I want it mostly for the games as well. What good games are out now? Ive been looking into crisis core but does that have any replay value? What good games are out there and what should I buy?

OMG just the title sounds badass. I know another WW2 game but this one looks promising. Reminds me of my favorite WW2 movie Saving Private Ryan , cause now your a squad leader and you can command your team and each team member has their own personal story/history and acts differently in a situation, hoepfully aside form the action theres a bit of comedy.

I heard online will feature many players online and maybe include vehicles so aside from the porbably awesome SP I can hop right into online (just hope theres a fair amount of people)

I really hope this WW2 game rocks, Im thinking if its really good it can re-define the WW2 genre.

Im thinking of buying the G25 or the Driving Force Pro/GT. I heard GT5P works for both of them but is that the only game? I dont wanna buy something $100+ that is only for use with 1 game. What game or games using the racing wheel function.

All this hate for Treyarch and the WW2 genre is making me sad. COD3 was one of my first games back on the other console before I got my PS3. Sure it doesnt pass COD4 in graphics or gameplay but it still had the simple fun factor. It would be one of those games that you could just pick up and play and never get bored. I frequently had friends over and unlike COD4 it had online splitscreen which was a blast.

At the time when I got this game it was only $10 which was a steal, I didnt know what to expect but I was amazed at how much fun I was having fun. And isnt that what games are all about?

Today the graphics are subpar, but not the worst. I still play it from time to time and think about which developers will make another true NEXTGEN WW2 game (currently looking out). Right now on my radar is Treyarches COD5 game. From what Ive been hearing it will most likely be WW2. I'll have to see an actual trialer for it and some gameplay to get me interested in it first but from then on ill be playing COD3 on my 360 and COD4 on my PS3 happily until the next COD5 comes out.

But I have one request to Treyarch and that is if this game is WW2 please dont take it to the pacafic, keep it in the Europe please cause killing Nazis never gets old.
