You'll probably answer most of your questions when you play the game, or have more questions in the end. Either way, you should just sit down and play it. If you are confused, do as Nephilim said and read the database or play the previous installments. And if all else fails, I'm sure we'll still be here to give you less informative responses.
I'm not one to repeat a gameplay until after quite awhile to refresh my memory on the story, but RE1 and RE2 are definately one's I've replayed if playing both character paths counts. I've played FFVII, MGS3, Bioshock, and SO2 a couple times each.
but is it Heavenly? Anyways, I haven't really been able to pinpoint the sword she uses. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough or I'm just blind. But I have heard them talk about her using a sword and whip. Not really the whip fan myself!
I've seen as much of Heavenly Sword as i have of Bayonetta. Based on the responses on here, I'll have to go with Nariko because of this stuff about "power of essentially a God" vs. some witch who uses her power of shedding her hair to bewilder her enemies with her nude flesh. Also, we all know swords > guns in a fantasy setting.
I'm hoping for something not disappointing from SquareEnix(besides the given FFXIII). I'd like to see new gameplay footage of Bioshock2. I'm interested in Capcom's next action game not DMC. For a bit of a reach, I want to hear something about a new Suikoden.
