ps3 Soul Calibur IV = 1280x720 (no AA)

xb360 Soul Calibur IV = 1365x960 (no AA, software scaled to 720p)

I wonder why they didnt tone the resolution down on the 360 and add more detail?if the resolution is higher there must of been slightly more juice left for the 360 version

yeah, that's weird. for the first time , I see a game downscaled to 720P, not upscaled.

8:28: My net connection crapped out and I lost three paragraphs. Sorry. The QA session continues. Carmack is complaining about DVDs. He says that from id's point of view, 360's hardware is superior to PS3'sbut that BluRay's capacity gives Sony's system an important edge, especially for large game worlds like Rage's.

When comparing the Xbox 360 to the PS3, the more spacious Blu-ray format is the only thing Carmack likes more about Sony's console. Everything else is better on the 360, he says.

EA has explained why there are currently no plans to release a PS3 version of hotly anticipated PC and Xbox 360 RTS Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, saying Sony's console is "very exotic and tough to develop for".

Can anyone give us links to the first Hardware game? Because it's kinda hard finding results when you google Hardware.

EPaul

Here

It got a 7.4 from 12 sites so it has potential

now I know why they call it will blow killzone2 away.

at least the average score is bit better than killzone1:P
