@SmallSatsuma Yeah, that line keeps popping up in articles. No one gives a **** about motion gaming. It's little more than an attempt to hack into the same base that the Wii did, when that demographic has long since lost interest.
@MoK86 @jts1891 I love Xbox Fanboys. You guys live in denial like no one else I've ever seen, and when confronted with actual facts you always slip to the 'it doesn't matter!' excuse.
Dude, your the fanboy. Numbers don't lie. The PS2 was the best selling console of all time, and had the highest number of software sells, you know, games? And you want to talk about Move and the Eye? I say Kinect.
@dani_i89 @jts1891 @mikhaze03 Again...when is the last time Microsoft actually made a new series that was exclusive to the console? They milk the same franchises over and over again, adding next to nothing to the gameplay each time.
If you've played Halo 2, you've pretty much played everything from Halo 3 and beyond. Halo 2 was the last time the series actually improved itself by a reasonable margin.
Same with Gears of War. Gear of War 2 was a vast improvement over the original, but the series hasn't evolved since.
The original Xbox was a great system, because Microsoft actually had plenty of exclusives and new series like Jade Empire, Ninja Gaiden, and Halo. Heck, even the 360 had a strong start with Gears of War. But the ecosystem has stagnated, and Microsoft has done little to correct it. That's why despite having a massive lead over the PS3 in the beginning, Playstation is now outselling Xbox. They stopped offering new, innovative games and started milking franchises.
@highlanderjimd The combat is clunky in comparison to other games of the same genre, but that's only because it's different from the norm and it takes time to get used to. Once you know how it works, it's actually laughably easy.
@dani_i89 @jts1891 @mikhaze03 So denial then. Xbox has Halo and Gears of War, both of which have been milked to death with the 360. Playstation has Uncharted, Infamous, God of War, Killzone, and plenty of new, exclusive IP's like the Last of Us.
When is the last time Microsoft released an exclusive new series? 8 years ago?
Dark Souls isn't difficult. It's tedious. You can carve your way through a multitude of enemies, only to turn a corner and get ganked before you even have a chance to respond, forcing you to do it all over again because of the lack of checkpoints. Dark Souls could have been a great game, and hopefully they'll make Dark Souls II what it should have been.
