@toddx77 @jts1891 @edinko Yeah. I mean, look at Itunes. You can get a physical album for around the same price as a digital copy, despite the associated costs. It's all about profit.

@toddx77 @edinko Profit. If they can charge more money for a product of lesser value, why wouldn't they?

@robybaggio I'll keep my discs, thanks. I like being able to sell and trade my games if I wish.

@Heales So because they listen to gamers, they are evil? Wowzers, that's a real nice piece of logic.

@cloud9allday You do realize that even before they withdrew the used game restrictions, new games were still going to cost 60$ right?

@GSGuy321 @jts1891 @PeterDuck Not really. Your average overage charge is about 15$ per Gig you go over. And with data limits like 20 GBs per month, yeah. It just isn't plausible.

@PeterDuck @jts1891 Maybe, but your not mentioning the widespread use of data caps and bandwidth limits by ISP's, Either way, it's still more convenient to buy physical discs since you can buy, sell, or lend them out as you wish.

Let's see here. The average internet download speed in the US is 7 MBPS. It would take several hours for your average game to download at that speed. Add in data limits and bandwidth caps, and yeah. It's far more convenient to simply ride down the road and pick up a physical copy at Walmart or Gamestop or Bestbuy.

Digital might be the future, but the infrastructure just isn't there to support it yet on a grand scale.

@Vividnightmare @mrcharrio If it was backwards compatible, I'd be game if only because I could sell my 360 to make up for the inclusion of Kinect.
