Better that games can be patched I mean with the amount of bugs you found in ps1 and 2 games (ok m,most bugs werent as bads, but forgames to be so amazing and huge then you got to expect bugs) and with ps3 they can mostly fix all bugs, the game will be buggy on release but with so many people buying the game most bugs will be found quickly to be sorted out :)

After I have run through Demon's Souls a few times and now with Dark Souls, I have started to listen to some Metal to make it more intriguing. I am currently running through Undead Parish while listening to "Every Time I Die - Hot Dam!" No pun intended by the band name ... I don't die in that area at all. I may go back to the asylum and listen to "The Bled - Pass the flask" - Great Cd's to listen to while soul grinding or just to play and listen

CBottom7
depends on the game If I'm playign a game with loads of speech i leave my music off If I'm playing a game I played before/doesn't have much speech (only reading not listening)/online then I will put music on either I put on the songs on my psp (4 gig of music playing through pc speakers) or put my cd player on for a bit of (at the momment either) papa roach or offspring :3

I don't believe any franchise needs to end they just need breaks to feel new once again

LaytonsCat
that works in a way but if the gap is too long once the next game came out people may not be as bothered anymore because theyve had so many games since the last, but that can go either way i suppose. I'm surprised noone said Final fntasy, which is a game I never went to stop if I'm relly honest :3 Dead Rising I would say Game I want brough back is timesplitters!!!

Im pretty surprised that the trophies are so easy besides the level 50. Still if it's as hard to level up as past scrolls then that is a pretty tough challenge. It's kinda making me rethink if i want to get it for PC. It really depends on how good the mods are going to be for PC since that was the best part of Oblivion. The best mod for me was the NPC companion that followed you and would fight with you. I got pretty tired of fighting every battle alone.Kurushio
I think you'll find the mods eventually will be as good, a lot of games on pc do have mods around but the amount made for oblivion were enormous and I should think people can't wait to make even more mods for the game :P. And I have to agree with you, Companion mods was excellent, have someone beside you and they can hold items for you, very helpful in long dungeons xD. I loved some of the extra magic ones, you could ifnd a few decent ones there. I never tried some of the different ways to lvel up that mods were made for but they sounded pretty cool

Scene in question: The scene where the guy is hammering the for sale sign into the ground of the house. The address number of the house is "2405"

((and these numbers also appear on the for sale sign.)) *Edit: Sorry I didn't do my own research on that bit but I do not see these numbers on the for sale sign, although it is the address of the house.

What they mean: Rockstar North is a UK based company, and the good people over in the UK read dates in day/month format. that would mean the address "2405," when split into day/month is 24/05. That date of course is...tada, May 24th.

I did not catch this on my own but read about it elsewhere, and have not seen it mentioned here on these forums so I thought I would bring it up.

Thoughts?

Well done on mentioning and knowing about our date format, I myself have never understood the other format of MM/DD Would be nice if that was the date they expect to release it, 1) because it's a game I can't wait to play and May isn't too far away and 2) because it woul be clever for them to show the release date that way

It's mainly because there just aren't enough servers. The thing that the company needs to do is put up more servers because now the game is free everyone is trying to play it. I'm still doing all the installation bits, I'm on like 30% after 10 hours

First off congrats on the new purchase.

-Plays Blurays which store up to 50G of data per disk. No more disk swapping when playing games as more content is stored on each disk.

-Plays Bluray movies, 3D movies and games, best picture and audio quaility bar none.

-Comes standard with a 160G HD mimum.

-Playstation online is free to use with the option of paying for an upgraded subscription. All games can connect via internet free as well as Netflix and other services.

-Built in WIFI, although I beleive this is standard on all Xbox's now.

-Wireless blutooth controllers and headset connections. Never lose a signal.

I'm sure others will come up with more reasons but those are some of the top ones I can think of.

Thanks! The Uncharted bundle comes with 320GB, which is probably much more than I need. Several of the games on my wishlist are PSN downloads, but I still don't expect to use up even half that space. My 360 is 120 GB, I've got 23 XBL games downloaded, plus the save data from physical games, and I've still got about 40 GB left. There's a good question that will help, what do you PS3 owners do with all your hard drive space?

lots and lots of demos, which i keep and replay sometimes, and friends play too installed content from games and DLC

Does the battery permanently die from lack of use? I've had a dual shock 3 boxed up since 2008ish, and I'm wondering if the battery will permanently die unless I open it and use it. I don't know how these batteries in these things work.

arkephonic
the battery might be run out the first time you use it as heat runs batteries down quicker (and so after about 4 years the heat has probably drained it) but it would just mean charging and using a full battery don't know much about batteries but i dont think it should effect it badly
