First blog post in a long time, but im here just to say - MGS4 is amazing! Been waiting a long time and finally it came out. Bought it first day and been playing ever since. Its great, definite buy for any PS3 owners.

Talking about games, I am pumped for Resident Evil 5, Guitar Hero 4: World Tour, Call of Duty 5: World At War, Prototype, Mercenaries 2, NHL 09, and Ninja Gaiden II for PS3. Should be sic.

For movies, I just saw Iron Man and the Hulk which were pretty dope. Im pumped for the Pineapple Express, Dark Knight, Hellyboy II, The Mummy 3, Step Brothers and Babylon A.D. this summer. Those should be sic. For music, im excited for the new Slipknnot album. Disturbed's "Indestructible" is a great new cd and ive been listening to it alot lately.

Well, thats pretty much it. Bought an Ibanez bass guitar and Fender 25W Rumble amp last month. I started playing in January and was renting, but just spent $500 on those two, a stand and a case. Its awesome.

Thats right. Yesterday I went and picked it up at EB Games. Cost nearly $200 and I still need a mic stand and bass guitar, but its friggin sweet! I couldnt even open it till 10pm tho cuz I had to work, but then my and my 2 sisters played it till midnight aha. Drums are fun, the new wireless guitar is awesome, and even singing aint that bad. Gunna play it way more today.

On another note: I forget to tell you I beat Skate like the 3rd day after I got it for Christmas. I had rented it twice for 7 days so it didnt take me too long to do all the challenges, but Its still an awesome game that Im gunna keep just to mess around with.

Also, school is back from winter break 2day :( I am excited to see my friends and all, but I hate waking up early cuz I go to bed late aha. But my bday is coming up and im gunna get COD4 for PS3 so its all good. :D

I rented and beat Uncharted: Drake's Fortune the other week. Its only about 8hrs long with no online but the story and gameplay are awesome - got a PS3? GO PLAY IT!

So, what else. Oya, ROCK BAND GOT POSPONED IN CANADA TILL THE 28TH - GRR!!!! I guess its kinda good, cuz ill get like $200 for EB Games on Christmas aha (plus another paycheque) but I JUST WANNA PLAY IT!

And yea, I dont got too too much planned for X-mas break. Probably work a bit more, hang out with a crap load of friends, play a crap load of games and Rock Band, plus PARTY NEW YEARS BABY!

Wow, havent been on here forever. Time for a new blog post!

I'll start with video games. I rented Skate last week for the second time, but had to restart because all my game saves were deleted when I returned my PS3. I got even further into the game, but had to take it back. I should be getting it for Christmas.

I also rented Assasin's Creed last week (still have it) and it is definitely my favorite PS3 game so far. Great graphics, combat, gameplay, and everything make this such a fun game. Expect a review shortly.

Now, here is a miniature rant: I have been waiting on Rock Band FOREVER, and as I am in Canada, I dont get it till near Dec. 20 (a whole month after it was released in the States)!!!Whats the deal? Legal problems due to rights to songs? More games for the States? Or is it too cold up here and they just don't like us? I mean, there shouldnt be that much of a problem. We are just across a tiny border. But any who, I preordered my copy and expect to get it THE DAY it gets to EB Games!

Another thing: there are many reviews up I have written now, so go check them out and agree with them! =P I should be writing up about 10+ more soon.

To my job. Im pretty sure I told you about my night time stock job I was going to be getting? Well, I got it and have worked for about 2 weeks so far =D Its a great, easy, fast job and Im excited to be working there. Plus, I should be getting over $300 on my first paycheque, all going towards Rock Band and other payments aha.

I went to the Alexisonfire concert last weekend as well in Vancouver, and it was awesome. Pride Tiger (Vancouver band), The Bled and Anti-Flag opened up for them (2 and a half hours of opening music) and then Alexisonfire came on for about 2 hrs. It was a great show, and I definitely did MOSH IT UP!

Now, I must go play Assasins Creed again, but one more thing - CHRISTMAS IS IN 22 DAYS!!!!!!!

Wow I havent blogged here for a while aha. Ive been coming on here to go on the forums and check my updates and that, but havent made a new blog. But I got a bunch to talk about so hope you came to read!

Ill start off with talking about all the sweet games coming out. Im extremely hyped for PS3 games CoD4,Kane and Lynch, Rock Band, Assasins Creed, Haze, Mercenaries 2, and Half-Life: the Orange Box, all coming out in November. Luckily I have a job interview on Wednesday for a job I have about a 99% chance at getting :D. Its a stock job at night, which is good because thats the best time for me to work, and I will have about three short weekday shifts a week.

Guitar Hero 3, Stranglehold and Conan I have been really phsyched about and they just came out. I am definitely gunna buy GH3 and rent the others.

But thats not until I get my PS3 back. Yea, it stopped reading discs. Im like a part of less than 1% of PS3 buyers whos PS3 broke haha. Luckily there is a Sony warehouse in British Columbia (Coquitlum, actually a 20min drive from my house) but I had to send my PS3 across the country to Ontario. Im getting it back in less than a week.

Now to off the subject of gaming. I have watched a few movies in the past couple weeks. I saw:

We Own The Night: saw it in theatres and it was a pretty intense, drug-and-violence filled movie. Just what I like!

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning: I had seen the other remake (with Jessica Biel) and this one just fell short of its predecessors awesomeness. Mainly because there was a stronger plot to it and these people were more helpless haha. But the gore was bumped up a notch, along with the craziness, making it totally brutally sweet.

1408: This movie was actually pretty good. Anyone liking scary movies and good plots should watch it.

Next: Now this one I was pretty surprised with because it was actually good. When I first saw the trailer I thought it was pretty lame, but then I watched it and there are quite a few twists and how the present the movie and see into the future is kool.

I gotta go see SAW IV and a few other movies coming out soon. Been a fan of Saw since the 1st one, so cant wait (even though its been going downhill since the 1st). Halloween is Wednesday, and im planning to party it up haha. Note to all residents in my local area: if a group of 15 to 16-yr-olds not dressed up come to your house past 9 or 10pm and you still have lights on and halloween stuff out, just give them the rest of your candy :P

Yep, I kinda missed it but since October 5th, 2007 I have been a member of Gamespot for two years - HURRAY! And I am extremely close to lvl 30 :D Props to me!

Yes, I finally bought NHL 08 for my PS3. Heres how my day went:

First, I went and handed in applications and resumes to the local Save-On Foods and Safeway. Then I went to my work I got laid off from (I WAS a dishwasher at the golf course) and picked up my tips (get 5% of the tip pool - its a month behind so I still have tips) and got $97 cash in tips (2nd-best tips pay ive gotten). Then I went to EB Games, traded in 7 PS2 games (Urban Chaos/NHL 07/PowerDrome/Half-Life/Ace Combat 4/World Rally Championship/some truck game we had two of) and 5 N64 games (THPS2/Diddy Kong Racing/NHL 99/Pokemon Stadium 2/Pokemon Stadium).

None of these games my family nor I play anymore and I got $41 trade-in value for them. Not THAT worse it but when they are just sitting on the shelf might as well trade them in. I had $15 already in trade-in cash so I only paid $7 for NHL 08 aha. Then I brought back Skate (had it for 3-extra days cuz its so good and only $1 per extra day aha) and went out for dinner.

So yea. And as we are sorta on the NHL subject, in the first game of the season OTTAWA WON 4-3 VS TORONTO :D. My man Heatley scored the OT winner. Vancouver starts the season this Friday vs San Jose. Gunna be sweet.

Brought back NHL 08 and HS. Ive been playing Skate non-stop since Tuesday and its awesome. I have it until Sunday and then once I get paid ill definitely buy that and NHL 08. All you 360 and PS3 owners - BUY SKATE!

Aiight, my friend and I just rented Heavenly Sword and NHL 08 for the PS3. We played Heavenly Sword for a bit and its not that bad (God of War is better imo), but NHL 08 is really awesome - I def need to buy it. I played Dynasty Mode for a bit which is good, then Shootout Mode is simply awesome and online play is excellent and very fun. I also played the Skate demo more and it OWNS!

Well, ive had my PS3 for some time now and still LUVIN it. Even with school and soccer, I find a helluva lotta time to play it aha. Just rented The Darkness and Virtua Fighter 5 (2-for-1 7-day rentals). I got to halfway through chapter 3 on the Darkness (pretty kool game, kinda difficult tho) and barely played VF5 aha. Im now on chapter 17/20 on Ninja Gaiden and think its a heck of a lotta fun. I still havent played Warhawk much and stopped playing Resistance online but should soon.

I have downloaded some excellent demos (Stranglehold,NHL 08,Tony Hawks Proving Grounds) and definitely need to play the full version. Here is the list of games coming out by OCT 15 I will definitely rent (maybe buy if its good):

NHL 08 (definite buy without rent)

Stranglehold (loved demo, but in one rental should be able to beat)

Tony Hawks Proving Grounds (great demo, dunno about length of game tho)

FEAR (good for a rental)

Skate (dunno how good it is, but am definitely hyped so atleast a rental)
