that said, how bad do we need to be able to use accounts accross multiple platforms? honest question, because I've always only used one platform to play this or that game, even when having all of them available. what has always made me choose a platform were the people I was playing with, so I've never thought of it as an issue.

also, is this a real demand from the community as a whole? or just a vocal minority thing? I might be absolutely wrong here, but I doubt most players feel the need to be able to use the same account to play on different platforms.

I fail to understand why this seems to be such a hot topic nowadays. not the only one, sure, bur a system's playerbase is one of the reasons why people choose one platform over the others. there are plenty of people playing on all devices, I don't think we need cross-platform play.

@Zenopants: as I see it, one game, however good it is, isn't enough for such blind trust.

@Brakkyn: couldn't agree more. I don't think they deserve any hate or whatever, they've done an amazing job in their last games, but can't we just wait and see? I can't believe people get so pumped out of a cinematic trailer. IMHO, it means very little: I want good gameplay and story, and they haven't shown anything yet to arouse my interest in this project. I love the setting and the trailer is fantastic, mind you, but I refuse to be sold on a game I don't know how it'll play.
