What is reality, really? How do we know that there is a world outside from what we sense and percieve. Are we even experiencing the whole of reality or only what our mind and it's limited capacity can make sense of. It's an interesting debate that my philosophy minor had no answer to. Only more questions.

Are you sure? "Custom or habit determines the mind to suppose the future conformable to the past," (Hume). But if this background of experienced constant conjunctions was all that was involved (in other words the effect follows a supposed cause), then our reasonings would be merely hypothetical.

I've been asked by a lady for me to leave my seat for this girl carrying a baby doll. Though, at the time the lady didn't know it was a doll. I was incredulous that she just asked me to leave my seat, not wanting to make a scene I left, grudgingly. I was pretty pissed. :oops:
