I was looking for people's opinions on the game. Obvs. the final decision is up to me. I might even end up buying neither.

RPGs hold my attention for only so long but there's a lot of gameplay. I don't know, I'll have to see.

Hi, I have some money to spend on a game, but I don't know what game I should get.

I've never played a console FF game, and I've never played a GOW console game either. No, I didn't own a PS2. I had a Gamecube.

What would you get?

I've played Chains of Olympus and the GOWIII demo. I was really impressed by the demo, and I think the console version looks much more fun than the PSP version.

However, FF looks good also, and I really really want to try the demo.

The only caveat here is that I'll probably do a review for a newspaper I'm part of, and FF is not as new as GOW.

Suggestions?

Okay, so I just played the demo of infamous today, and in the introduction, it described what happened in a lawless, chaotic society. stores were robbed, public property was destroyed, people were injured, women were raped, and law enforcement, or anyone for that matter, was too afraid to stand up to the gangs that were taking control.

Then, there were riots recently in la, because the lakers won the championship game. public property was destroyed, people were injured, hopefully no women were raped and basically LA was in chaos.

a shoe store, the holy grail, was robbed, and this is a quote from the interview: "Matt: How long after the store was broken into did you arrive?

Liz: I really am not too sure. Everything seems like it happened so quickly. When I arrived, the police were there. In fact one of the officers told me that they were scared to go in while the mob was looting the store. They just had to let them do what they wanted to do."

Sound familiar?

In our society, which is a civil one, this isn't supposed to happen. Where was the law enforcement? State troopers? Why didn't the local jurisdiction prepare for something like this? What the heck was anyone doing?

Personally, I'm disturbed that something like this can happen. Even though we have institutions that we thought would prevent this from happening, it still took place.

What do you think?

Just to let you know, I am not blaming anyone in particular for this - I just want a discussion.

I'm in a similar situation. I have a PS1 with 2 memory cards,4 or 5 controllers and over 80 games. Sometimes I think why am I living in the past and still playing this, and I'll want to sell it, but other times it just hits me that I might regret selling it because there's still quite a few games with good play in them. I came to a reasonable conclusion that when you've got the most out of all your games and you're really bored of them all now then that's the time to sell. If that's not a time then when is?

liquidzero123

you could keep the games you like, and sell the rest. Ps2/3 both have ps1 compatability...

okay, the N64 is the greatest console in my eyes, doesn't have to be in yours. :)AjaxNeron

if all fanboys would understand that, there wouldn't be any conflicts over systems :) I personally think there is no console that is bad because I think each console is unique and they all bring something different to the table. which means better consoles and games for us.

@dragonfly, I have 007, paper mario, super smash bros, perfect dark, star wars shadow of empire, mario cart '64, tony hawk proskater, south park, gex 64, conkers bad fur day, biofreaks, wwf no mercy, war gods, and top gear rally 2. I dont have ocarina of time, majoras mask, pokemon stadium, super mario 64, which, if I had, would make me keep the n64 :)

I have a black controller, the grey one, a translucent purple one, and a translucent light purple one.

However, this would be esy to sell (I hope.) do you guys think i would be able to sell it for 75?

[QUOTE="jus_blaze101"]

Hey there gamespot. I have an old n64 sitting under my tv, just gathering dust. I only pull it out on the rare occasions that old friends come over. However, since my friends and I have all moved on to better consoles, we didn't find it as fun as it used to be (obviously). I have 14 games for it, 4 controllers, and 2 transfer paks. Should I sell it or keep it? I'm in dire need of cash but I wouldn't mind some extra cash. I have a ps3 and I'm happy with that. What should I do?

AjaxNeron

By better you mean newer, right? N64 was the best system of all time (so far), in my opinion.

Oh yeah, and, keep it.

oh, sorry, my mistake, I meant newer.

Ill change it, don't want to start a system war. :D
