I weightlift, just don't do cardio... so I'm going to do that regardless of which option I choose.

Silkroad Online is one of the better ones I've played. Xfire had it in the top 10 most played for awhile.

I've been a gamer all my life. I'm now 22 years old, I go to school full time, work part time, have a girlfriend and a serious relationship which makes me work more than either school or work (lol jk), etc...

I recently quit WoW because it was taking up a lot of my time and distracted me from a lot of things in school. It sucks because I have 8 friends / guildies who I play with so we LAN together and had some amazing times doing it. But after I quit I kept feeling the pull back to WoW, just because growing up I'd rent a game and see the credits in a few hours and there IS no end in WoW. So, to quench my thirst I got into console gaming. Got a Halo 3 edition xbox for XMAS two years ago, then I bought a PS3. I liked the PS3 more because it felt "more mature" (no offense to anyone) to me in it's technical capabilities and layout. I bought a flatscreen, HDMI, surround sound, chair, etc.... The whole nine yards. And now I am just as distracted as before.

As I mentioned I'm a student, so money comes in about $250 dollars a paycheck every two weeks, and an occasional photo shoot (free lance photographer) which will bring in $400 to $800 an event. And games at $60 dollars a piece can really strain me, especially if they end up sucking. And the thing is, is that I feel like gaming is not a good hobby to have any longer. It keeps me in a chair in my room for hours playing with / against strangers and the frustration of getting killed by a 10 year old is unbearable. But I still find it fun, and I know a TON about it. Even though I still love gaming, tons of games have let me down recently and so I've come to a cross roads.

So what caused this debate? I got invited to play some scenario woodsball (paint ball in the woods), where we had capture the flag, hostage rescue, search and destroy. Despite the fact that I was playing with terrible equipment, and no experience, and got totally LIT (much like starting a new game) I loved it. Made me realize how much I actually need to run and get in shape, and how crazy it is to feel like I'm in a FPS in real life (this time with perfect sensitivity! :D). But getting into paintball is fairly expensive, and paint is always just as expensive. However, I feel that it would be fun to be hands on with my marker (gun) and upgrade it and customize it eventually, and I can't play paintball everyday all day like I can game... and to me that might be worth the investment.

So, if you were me what would you do? Continue to game or go with paintball?

Has nothing to do with your ISP. As far as your IP address changing it technically isn't. You lease an IP address from your ISP (comcast, windstream, whatever doesn't matter) your modem is then plugged into your router and then becomes a private IP address. (192.168.1.x) You can have many different connections all at once all using 1 IP address that is masked like that. What you need to do is figure out how many devices are already connected to your network, most likely you have a desktop that is wired into the router, and then whatever else you have wirelessly. If your router has a restriction on how many it can support that could be a problem ( most likely not though ). The best thing to do is to unplug your router, unplug your modem from the router, unplug your modem, wait 30 seconds, plug in your modem again, wait another 30 seconds, plug your router in, plug your modem into your router and retry with your Xbox OFF. It can cause problems if your router is trying to assign your ps3 with the same IP as your xbox.

Most likely I will get it, but it certainly won't be until much later after release... just because games like this are interesting but don't give long term play.

SF2Tr is the top downloaded game right now, so there is going to be an audience for it. However, with MLG making every 11 year old think they can quit school and be a pro gamer the FPS will certainly overshadow SFIV. I wanted SFIV ever since I first started seeing things pop up about it, however after playing SF2Tr on the SIXXaxis, i'm really not looking forward to it anymore. It would be cool if I wanted to spend $100 dollars on the joystick for it, however, I don't want to. But the people that do buy it will have a greater advantage in move response... so, looks like it's KZ2 for me and the majority of ps3 owners.

Also, keep in mind that many many games have let us down in the FPS genre too. COD4 was awesome, COD:WaW is bland and a let down in comparison... and neither are suited for competitive play IMO based on the magnetism involved, and the extreme overuse of sub machine guns. Anyway, Socom: Confrontation had a horrible launch, although a good game people gave up on it because it wasn't COD4 and was buggy as hell. COD: WaW was more of the same. Fracture, was...well, Fracture. Resistance 2 was a great game, multiplayer system was crap when it first came out... buggy. With KZ2 everyone is expecting all of these past lessons to be learned, and honestly, I'm pessimistic about it.

They lied to us before on the original KZ, what makes you think this is different? As far as I know they have been hyping this game beyond belief, but if the kiddie asshats don't think it's easy enough, or it has any kind of learning curve it will fall by the wayside. Just like Quake Wars: ET did on every platform, and TF2 did.

Kids and Counter Strike abandoners want mindless violence, not strategy elements with specific class roles and abliities. I personally DO want those, and I hope that major gaming franchises like MLG, and gamebattles, and many others pick up this game FOR that... but I don't believe it will happen. I hope I'm proven wrong.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using dahlsim and his super combo is the half circle, half circle+P and it NEVER does it... just makes me jump or do the standard half circle+P which shoots fire. I went online and kids are dominating me, cannot figure out what i'm doing.

How fast are you supposed to execute moves and do you use the d-pad or analog?
