I hate to be a pessimist but I would say neither of these games are worth your hard earned cash. Sega Rally it just a glossed up version of the original which sadly outside of an arcade machine and sitting next to your mate looses it's appeal. Juiced 2 I don't really want to try and validate a game that has you select a virtual girlfriend :( PGR4 will have a large online presence and is a better driving game than the other two. I personally would wait for PGR4

I have to say Halo 3's multiplay clinches it for me. GOW is a fantastic game and I love it dearly but in the contaxt of the question I would get Halo 3 first.

Granted it is an expensive solution to what is really a "non" problem. VGA cables will allow you to up your display to the same resolution as 1080 the only drawback is you wont get the same colour depth as you will through component and hdmi. The difference between 1080i and 1080p is noticeable but the resolution is exactly the same as is the colour depth, progessive scanning draws both the horizontal and vertical lines simultaneously so you perceive a slightly smoother image onscreen. But as you mentioned running on component is more than adequate especially as alot of TV's don't support 1080p anyway

Hey folks. Starting up a Halo 3 Group on bungie.net. Called Sonic Death Monkeys. Just a fun loving group looking for like minded players for some light hearted social/ranked/co-op games. No real requirements just be willing to play, be reasonably verbose on the coms. If your a UK player or english speaking European player and you think this sounds like a laugh swing by bungie.net and do a search for us in the group listsand drop us a line. Hope to hear from you.

I'm not entirely sure how the Virgin set top box is set up. One thing I could ask is does the network cable that connects to your set top box run from your broadband modem or does it come from and external source (example a virgin media cable box on your wall?) If you can give me that info I will be able to help you out.

nope, there will be no adapter piece to make it hdmi compatible, no way to. pantshater1224
I beg to differ, there are converters out there that will allow you to plug a component cable in and get an HDMI cable out allowing you to get a 1080p resolution out of your 360. There not cheap they average around £80 which is about $160 give or take but should you want to consider it here's what one looks like http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=148_198&products_id=1804&gclid=COXHjZrN8I4CFQESEgodHhcsCA

I would say the purchase of a 360 is almost mandatory at the current time. I have owned my 360 since launch and have had no issues what so ever. I also own a PS3 and Wii and the reason why I would suggest the 360 is this. It has by far and a way the greatest diversity of games and the best titles available at the moment backed up by the best network service. If your willing to wait till next year I would then say the PS3 is going to start to pull it's weight as sadly the software catalogue is lacking at the moment. The Wii is fantastic but also it lacks games that ave any real depth outside of a 15 - 30 min blast. If you are a serious gamer the 360 is the console to go for at the moment. Purchase a brand new one stay away from imported or traded consoles as you run a high risk of getting stung.

That is an April fools joke. Aside from the fact that the specification of the hard drive isn't commercially available the controller they are showing a pic of is the "OLD" Microsoft Sidewinder Freestyle Pro pad which came out on the PC way back in like 98 or 99, it used to be bundled with motocross madness which was one of about 3 games developers actually bothered developing for it's tilt controls. So I hate to disapoint anyone but sadly it's all fake. http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Sidewinder-Freestyle-Game-A17-00001/dp/B00004Z729
